Is Barack Obama Ready to Lead the Free World? (438 hits)

John McCain believes Barack Obama lacks the experience needed to lead the free world. But I have to take him (and Democratic Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton) to task on this matter. How many new presidents do you know entering office with a wealth of knowledge and experience in domestic and foreign affairs? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the presidents that I know about responded to information contained in intelligence reports.

As far as I'm concerned, Barack Obama is more than qualified for the job. He has proven it through his lifetime service to his family, state and country.

What do you think?

I look forward to reading your responses.

Sincerely,

Jeffery A. Faulkerson, MSSW

I'm from Texas -- sorry 'bout W, y'all -- and first heard of W as part-owner of the Texas Rangers Raseball team, then one term as governor of Texas, I think, then BAM: POTUS! Where's HIS experience? One term as governor or son of a former POTUS?

Unless pedigree matters -- which I think Hillary was betting on -- I'm putting my money on the new guy.

Barack Obama is ready to lead the Free World because he has a vision of an increasingly interdependent global community -- where the future is shaped by collboration and not military might. He understands tht we must earn the respect of our global partners, and not bully them into false coalitions. He also understands that the strength of our nation lies in the dreams of those who strive for a better future, not those who are striving to preseverve positions of privilege. that is why he is so popular and inspiring. and that popularity already has spread across the world -- in Africa, Euroe, and the Far East. He has already been proclaimed president by the people of the Free world.

Now we must get him elected.
