I Am Alpha. I Am Omega. I Am Woman. (1121 hits)

That is no New Age empowerment affirmation, nor is it heresy. It is a fact of creation according to the KJV Bible.

I know, I know, Genesis 1:27 and 2:7 clearly indicate that man was the first of creation, but is it possible God engaged in a creative act before he looked out on the void? Scripture suggests the answer to that question is a resounding yes.

Let me back up a bit and lay a little foundation. We pray, Your will be done in earth (man) as it is in Heaven (God). And the Bible says, “male and female created he them.”
Most of us have been taught we are created and purposed to be a mirror reflection of God and our lives a mirror reflection of Kingdom government. Am I right about it? If there is no female Divinity, no Goddess who were we women created and purposed to reflect?

The attempted assignation and enforced obscurity of the Goddess in Christianity had/has nothing to do with either the letter or the spirit of the Holy Scriptures. It was/is a crime of intention, rooted in a misogynist lust for power. In other words, it’s political. The traditional party line is, women were subjugated to men after the fall because we are dirty, devious creatures, who are without power or purpose beyond propagation. Could God have had a different reason?

A man’s power is limited by nature and purpose to title. What I mean is it comes with inherent labels like husband and father or provision based titles like doctor, accountant. A woman’s power, on the other hand, is limitless. It requires no label or action; her power is her presence, her influence. Think about it. When the bay-bays are showin out, if dad handles it, he has to speak, give voice to his authority, but mom needs do nothing more than walk in the room and look. Am I right about it? That being said, could it be possible that God simply could not allow raw power to be unharnessed in a world sans fellowship with him?

Read Proverbs 8:22 -30; they clearly predate Genesis 1. Pay particular attention to verse 25; it would appear Wisdom came from God as woman came from man.

Proverb:8:22: The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

Proverb:8:23: I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

Proverb:8:24: When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

Proverb:8:25: Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

Proverb:8:26: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

Proverb:8:27: When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

Proverb:8:28: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

Proverb:8:29: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Proverb:8:30: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

We were not, are not, the after thought of creation. We are God’s first, final and every thought. Woman is the beginning and end of God’s creative action. Just Sayin

MR,

Great post. The more we study western Christianity...the more questions we will have as things stop making sense and/or appear to mimic stories of so called pagan groups that are much older (i.e…some stories seem to be stolen from other religions).

Please know that other non-Christian Mosaic religions don't have these same man versus female stories. Some even explain the creation of man and woman in vivid detail ("Created into something that God liked"....later translated into likeness).

Many non-Western religions have even further differences in their stories of creation; specifically, humans as we know them today were not the first version of people God created (God created and destroyed man as God {no gender} pleased.

You are on the right path...the search for truth. Don't be afraid of where it may lead you. There is a whole universe of information out there…enjoy your journey :0)

Say It Michelle!
"WOMAN"

Wo to the man that gets in
the way of a creation so great.

Wo to the man that believes that
he can sustain the pain of mother-
hood.

Wo to the man that thinks that he
can work, be a mother, and a wife
all in one.

Wo to the man that feels that he can
come up against a woman scored.

Wo to the man that allows a woman
to give him love, peace, and happi-
ness.

For Woman is definitely the help mate
of her man and the strength of their
toghetherness.

She is the rib that holds it all together.
Feel her radiate for she is Woman!
