I voted for Obama. I'm going to Vote for him in November. I must state to be honest, I don't really like his politics. I'm not sure the Democrats really know or want to do what's best for the masses. One of the biggest things that I really see that we as a people need to do is similar to what some of have done. That is made a decision to improve your condition. The thing that we need more of is cooperation and coordination. It is about our Blackness and how we relate to each other. We have inherited a situation that won't be cured with denial or turning a blind eye.
I don't like White Liberals because I feel that they are dishonest and disingenuous opportunists which use causes to line their pockets. I understand that there are many people beside Black People who are suffering. However we have special spiritual and mental scars which are unique to the Black American Experience. The healing of those scars can't come from the President. It's an inside job.
At one time I had a Globalist Philosophy, but what I'm seeing is the standards in this country slipping while the standards for the average citizens of others countries aren't rising. Sure we see Gross Economic Measures Increasing in China and other countries, but the story they don't want to let out is that there is a widening gap betweens the haves and have nots.
The most important thing is that Obama can only do but so much. He is bound by the Party Leaders and Congress. The symbolism of Obama is priceless, just like the Symbolism of the Reconstruction Period is priceless. It is very important to make sure that we have our own economic underpinning this time around.
