I listened to Spike Lee this morning,on CNN and was disappointed that he wasn't as articulate as I expected him to be. When asked if he thought race would decide this election..he aptly stated that "young whites " were working hard to change the direction of his country, and he added when asked about the polling results that in fact they don't really decide the election. Two themes I have blogged. And I agree.
What perplexes me is the disparity between the statements made. Mr. Clinton is still throwing a jab at Obama here and there with comments such as, look what would have happened if he (Obama) had picked someone else. Of course he is inferring, his wife, Hillary Clinton.
I am getting litle piqued at constantly hearing these Democrats repeatedly state, "well John McCain is a good friend of mine, "harping on that over and over again. We know that. You are all colleagues and you have been in the same political circles for over 30 years!!
Is it ," Obama you will get to the White House, but we are not going to let you forget" how you denied me (through my wife') the opportunity for me to enrich myself and get in close enough to continue the oil windfalls, but this time in the Democrats favor ?
It is difficult to gauge just what the motives are, but something is up.
