Are Sen. John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin creating a climate for racial strife? (441 hits)
With 4 more weeks in the 2008 Presidential Election Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin are resorting to mud slinging. To avoid talking about the real issues, like the economy, of which they have no real plan of altering, they have fallen back on the oldest trick in the book; fear mongering.
They are prey on the irrational fears of white people, particularly poor and middle class whites. On radio they have the help of conservative, right wing radio host Neal Bortz, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, all of whom are white men. On Cable Television they are aided by the Faux (pronounced FOX) News Network, seen in the Black community as the racist news network.
The question many are asking is why are they, if they have the best plan for America’s recovery, running a dirty campaign? They accuse the potential President of the United States with cavorting and sympathizing with domestic and foreign terrorist. At the Republican rallies they say his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, to stir up fear and anxiety among ignorant whites who fear the leadership of a Black man.
The question begs to be asked, “What is their real motive and goal for going negative?” Is it to win the election or is it something far more devious and sinister?
There is a saying, “Those who do not learn the lessons of History are doomed to repeat it". During the Reconstruction era, a period right after the American Civil War, Blacks gained many rights, including the right to vote and hold an office in government. But fear, envy and gross hatred of the Black man's new found freedoms and rights brought out the weak nature of the white man.
Refusing to submit to as they called it “Negro Rule.” The Ku Klux Klan began a campaign of terror and murder to intimidate and prevent Black voters and politicians form exercising their rights as American citizens. Even Hollywood got in on the persecution. The movie 'Birth Of A Nation' characterized the Black man as lazy, shiftless and craving after the white woman, adding fuel to the fire. In 1877, Reconstruction end and Blacks lost their positions in government and Black Code Laws were implemented.
This is the climate that the Republican Party is creating today. They scapegoat Blacks, Mexicans and the poor for the cause of the current financial crisis on Wall Street. They scapegoat Arabs and Muslims for terrorism and they insinuate that Blacks, particularly a Black president, are sympathetic with terrorist.
This is creating a dangerous and polarizing condition in America. A condition that could at some point erupt into violence. Or it could backlash against them in some unforeseen way. Either way, the unscrupulous campaign tactics of Sen. John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin are dangerous and irresponsible. This leads to the question, are Sen. John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin puppets of the money masters, the same masters that have been pulling the strings in the Bush administration. If so, who are they and what are their plans in the next 4 weeks.

Hi Steve, a friend of mine and I are going to buy us a Holy Quran and try to read it our selves.Was that an actual part of the Holy Quran, because if it is there is no way that we can sit and read it without a lot of help.Am, I correct on this.
