We hear it questioned of God in the bible, but what about the men and women in the world today? Do we dare ask if WE are mindful of THEM?
Are you mindful of the man/woman you woke up with this morning? (Your spouse, significant other, or your self)
Are you mindful of the waitress that brought your food to your table?
Are you mindful of the man or woman behind the counter, taking your order, your money, your good/bad attitude?
Are you mindful of the mailman, trashman, policeman, maintenance man, janitor, secretary, bank teller, or librarian?
Are you mindful of the presidential candidates?
Are you mindful of all the people that make your life simple(r), easier, faster, more efficient?
Are you mindful of all the people that make your life hard(er), more complicated, more expensive, less productive?
Are you mindful of the countless people that you come into contact with, but rarely even notice? The person you just dropped the door on at the gas station, the lady with 3 kids at the grocery store, having to put back items she can't afford to pay for, or the one who cleaned the toilet you just had your "morning constitutional" upon?
What about the one's you pass by (or cut off) in traffic?
Are you mindful of your impact upon life just by being in it?
Are you mindful of your impact upon the life of another?
Are you mindful that you may not get another chance to do, right now, what you could have, would have, should have done, yesterday?
Are you mindful of your mindset? What about the mindset of the other person?
What about the one reading this right now?
One last question and I'll leave you to ponder....
Why?
OR PERHAPS....
Why not?
