Giving Oprah Credit for Obama's Victory

Can anyone please explain why Oprah is continuously getting credit for Obama's victory?
I don't personally know of anyone who is that shallow minded or uninformed as to vote for someone just because Oprah said to do so. I respect Oprah for her accomplishments as a black woman but for people to imply that she alone is responsible for this historical moment is a shear display of ignorance.
