DEAR GOD, CAN YOU HELP AN ABUSED CHILD?
This month on Swaggie's Voice, I feature the children's Author of the book, "Dear God."
Meet Elsie Spruill who has taken a courageous step in writing about Domestic Violence from a child's POV. Visit http://swaggiecoleman.blogspot.com for the complete interview that is quite enlightening.
Child abuse is a large portion of Domestic Violence directly and indirectly. We have read the data by researchers after researchers about the potential generational abusive behavior. We hear all the time about women in abusive relationships and I wonder if we realize that in most cases children are involved as well. During the interview which can be found at http://swaggiecoleman.blogspot.com we go deep into the home of Domestic Violence.
How will we emerge? You the reader can decide after reading the interview. However, I assure you, there is power in raising awareness about the harmful behaviors that shape our future leaders, teachers, etc. It is time to pay attention and one of the best ways to do so is to become knowledgeable as much as possible. amen? Amen!
