I'm madder than a crowd on the day Mardi Gras passes
Our elders may not be able to pay back their taxes
They don't want the 44th president to be our man
Hell, they won't even approve of his stimulus plan

Governor Jindal talked about his role in Katrina
Red Cross, Army Corps of Engineers, and FEMA
Tell me how could he be about protecting the South
When he is more crooked than Bobby Brown's mouth

Like Tupac I wonder if heaven got any ghettos
As I sit on my front porch manicuring my nails
The mayor and city council need to go to hell
For keeping the fuel adjustment on our light bill

As I take the cover off of my water meter
Oh my goodness, what is this crap I see here?
How the world can they mark our bill "R" for Read
There's enough dirt in the meter to bury the dead

Angelina and Brad Pitt are standing alone
In helping the 9th ward rebuild their homes
Where are the Jesse's and Al's of our time
They only come out when it's a racist crime

Everything and everyone close to me is dying
Turn on the movie channel to keep from crying
Comtemplating what my next move is gonna be
It's to write a book called The Audacity Of Greed
