THE HISTORY OF JESUS: MYTH VS. TRUTH
This discussion will probably be my longest, but as I get closer to the truth and God, I hope that I'm helping people to come into the truth of life and not the terror of lies. So HERE...GOES...NOTHING.
This subject is mandated because when the truth begins to flow, people begin to grow (I made a rap). When people begin to grow they go through what psychologists term "cognitive dissonance," meaning that you have been confronted with a truth that goes against what you know, think, or believe to be true (lay mans terms). When your mind has been molded and shaped to think a certain way and then all of a sudden there is something that cancels out what you you have been made to believe, it causes the mind to say "what is going on here?" Something inside of us locks into the truth of it all, but what we begin to discover does not go along with what has been taught and what has been trained.
Why is it so important to discuss the happenings and makings of Jesus? Well, because as a people (Afrikans and others) we have been programmed into a belief system that is not about Jesus (the man/the consciousness) at all. We have been taught that the person in the belief system is about a person named Jesus, but it's not about Jesus at all. The belief system that we have been given is a philosophical way of saying that you can be something that you know you shouldn't or can't be and still be alright with God. I know this is confusing, but keep reading. We have been taught that a man named Jesus bled on Calvary why?, to pay the price for our sins. We have been taught that the whole reason why he came to earth in the first place was to correct what Adam (one man) did in the Garden of Eden. I'm sure you can point out a host of problems with these things but keep reading.
The whole Western World has been taught these precepts in schools and in churches, that Jesus Christ was a historical and spiritual figure, which he still may be, but let's dig a little deeper into the matter (keep reading). One of the most enduring arguments on the face of the earth is the controversy on whether or not a man named Jesus ever really existed (I believe he did, just not the one they give us). When you examine the issue closely you will find a tremendous amount of literature that demonstrate logically and intelligently that "Jesus Cristo" (what we know of him), is in fact apart of other mythological figures and characters along the same lines as the Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Sumerian, Phoenician, Indian, and other God men who are accepted by these various cultures even to this day. IF you look closer you will discover, uncover and find that the Jesus that has been introduced to us is an amalgamation of older characters, heroes, and myths from all over the world.
Let me stop here. I am not a Christian basher, I am a Child Of God acknowledging that there are holes in the content in which we preach and teach. Our cultural and world resurrection depends on truth and the acknowledgement of it. There is no sense in being afraid of what we see and Christ followers. But the truth is the truth. And when you do the research, the truth stands up or the myths and the lies. What I mean by myths is not in the form or fairy tales, but in the form of Archetypes or fantastical stories that are used to convey deeper meanings that help us to cope with the proclivities and vicissitudes of life. Yet, I would venture to say that the majority of us have been running jumping and shouting over something that may not even be as real as we think it is. And if it was so real and liberating, why kill people to advance it? Why conquer those who don't acknowledge it? and why try and save everybody's soul? Cannot God do this himself? But I digress....
His story is one of a Jewish rebel (in which none of the Jews will acknowledge). The truth of the matter is that the only literary evidence (ever) to the existence of the Jesus that has been given to us is in the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, 30-60 years after the fact. All of the supporting evidence to the existence of Jesus only presented in the Gospel of Thomas (eliminated out the bible for heresy), Josephus' writings (little to none mentioned about Christ), and Nicodemus. Other gospels generated that were once considered conical or genuine, were later rejected as Apocrypha, spurious, or not real.
The Christian "plagiarist" (people who decided copy other and older accounts of saviors and put a different spin on it) have amalgamated and consolidated every myth, every legend, every fairy tale, every doctrine, or bit of wisdom that they could, to create the "super savior" or the supreme man being, the character and man that we know as Jesus. The legend if "Jesus Cristo" (Greco-Roman) identically parallels (exact copy) the story of Horus (Egyptian), Krishnah (India), Buddha (East Asia), Mithra (Persian Sun God) and about 24 other saviors. These stories are ones that pre-date the Christian stories by thousands of years. Examples....
Horus/Heru (Egyptian [adopted by the Greeks in the form of Ptolemy Soter):
His father was Osiris (God)
Born of Virgin named Aset or Isis (Greek). "Genes of Isis" Genesis?
Born on Dec 25th in a cave or manger
When he he was born his birth was announced by a star in the east and 3 wise men or magicians (magi-cians, magi?)came to his birth.
When Horus was a child at 12 years old he was a teacher in the temples in Kemet or Egypt.
When he was 30 years old he was immersed (baptized) by the Kemetic/Egyptian priest Hannuk.
Horus had 12 disciples, performed miracles, raised a man from the dead named Elazorus (spell check).
Horus walked on water, was transfigured on a mountain in front of his disciples
Horus was crucified and buried in a tomb and resurrected 3 days later.
He was known as the way, the truth, and the life.
He was called a Moshiac/Messiah, God's anointed son, the son of man, the good Shepperd, and the lamb of God.
He had the title of "the fisher," Iusa (beloved son of God)
He was called the "Krist" which means in Kemet the "annointed one"
(FACTS)
Khrishna (Krishna):
Born of a Virgin named Devaki
His father was a carpenter
His birth was attended by three angels, wise men (magicians) and sheppherds who brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh to his birth.
He was persecuted by a tyrant who ordered the slaughter of thousands of infants.
Baptized at the age of 30, was transfigured on a mountain of in front of 12 disciples.
Impaled on a tree between two thieves, rose from the dead 3 days later and ascended to heaven.
He was a descendant from Noah
He was called the Lord of Hosts, considered the redeemer, called the 1st born, the sin barer, the liberator, and the "universal word."
KHe is the second person of the Hindu trinity, declared himself the resurrection, the way to the father, and he was called the beginning, middle, and end.
His disciples called him Jezues.
The Hindus to this day are waiting for his 2nd coming where he returns to earth to battle the prince of evil.
I will end this one here to let you contemplate your next move. I will explain in my next discussion the Suns/Sons of God and why all of the narratives are similar.
We haven't had a chance to think!!! We have just been trained into believing.
