How Does a White Supremacist Get Firearms with a Criminal (Federal) Record?

...With the first black president in office, how can you not follow up on a guy with James Von Brunn's history of violence? And not having done that, how can you say the man poses no threat...

Perhaps some high up officials are still carrying the torch for good 'ole J. Edgar Hoover and his kind... I should shudder at the thought that people would turn a blind eye on folk like Von Brunn's in order for them to do things like they did to prominent high ranking officials like President JF Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and MLK to name a few. Do you get me??

Brother Mozell I won't hold my breath. The media is already blaming it on the economy. I guess the FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, and whatever else governmental agency will be calling for a full scale investigation of themselves by themselves to do a cover up. Perhaps from their investigation they will say as Fip Wilson's character, Geradine used to say, "The devil made Van Brunn do it."

Sister Irma I hear you loud and clear as well as I always appreciate your insight on these blogs. We have a case of domestic terrorisim alright & the Homeland Security/FBI/CIA don't think these groups pose any threats. Have we learned nothing from Timothy McVey and the Oklahoma Bombing? It's no wonder the "right" isn't talking which is very strange for them since they never seem to be able to keep a lid on it!! Something really should be done about the Rushes and Hannitys for insighting these hate crimes.

My only regret is for the family of the late Mr. Johns who lost his life for something that could have been prevented. I think the family of the late Stephen Tyrone Johns should file a wrongful death law suit against against Van Brunn as well as look into seeing if they can file a law suit against the entities that saw the Racist - Hate Monger as no threat. Isn't ironic and sad that a brother lost his life guarding a Jewish Holocaust Museum... at least I think so anyway being that his own ancestors were victims of the "Middle Passage Holocaust".

Even better my sister Jen, I was listening to the exwife of Van Brunn saying how he always said he would go out with his gun. That picture of Charlston Heston raising his gun up over his head at that ARA rally with those LOUD cheers of the conservatives as he said they would have to take his gun from him out of his cold dead hands...it is too bad that small minds only have selective memories that will for ever be in denial that this had any thing to do with what happened in d.c. yesterday or the killing of Dr. G. Tiller eleven days before this in that church(smile)

If there is a bright side to this story it is the Rushs and the Cheneys and the FOX cable news networks are not saying a word. They are not even saying any thing back to CNN, MSNBC for blaming them by name as related to Dr. g. tiller's and this death today!!!They are not even talking about this killing at the Museum and this was the top story of the day...

It was Cheney and his daughter Liz on the media trail, now Cheney has gone into hiding it seem.HIs daughter is out there all by her self now and she is in bad shape trying to defend the conservative base!!!!

Hannity had for the first time 3 Black people on his program at one time, but nothing about this story!!!

About this man, This man represents ever thing the right-wing has been harping on. Our president is not and American citizen.They believe that everyone has the right to have a gun.They have tunnel vision and can only talk about the same thing, how bad our president is for the economy, for the natiion, etc. No wonder the Republicans have nothing to say on this matter!!!!!!DOMESTIC TERRORIST is not going to be not in our English language any more. There is a demand that the FCC look into those like Rush and over at fox as inciting these kinds of people to come out and defend all ot the things that this Black president is taking from them!!!!Lets see if the owner of the FOX networks will claim he is a Jew so he is a victim in all of this. They have already been before Congress twich that I know of in the past year to answer about complaints. I know this because I followed them on C-Span...

Think about it Bush told us to be vigilent, but could come out and say 'dark skin' foreign 'terrorist'. We all know that our president can not come right and say look out for domestic home grown Klansmen- terrorist, now can he? but, we get the picture, don't we(smile)WE shall over come, we always have as we remember each other in our prayers...
