News of Michael Jackson's hospilization threw telephones off the hook as thousands of Memphians reacted to the news of his cardiac arrest. Telephone lines of the news spread like a pandemic! Many anxiously watched cable, nationaL and local news related for word of his condition. Some too shock to speak waited anxiously to hear the most recent news.
Words of his death spread even faster...
MICHAEL IS GONE!
Followed with tears and with disbelief almost every Memphian was discussing his passing. One lady said.."He's dead? Is he really dead?" The World known King of Pop has touched millions. This news of his passing has a global effect.

The legendary Michael Jackson has truly touched lives of millions of people world over. His album Thriller still remains the largest selling album of all time. It's almost in every home. Talented in many ways Michael will be remembered as a child prodigy! Dancing and singing at a very early age. His family of talent seemed to never end. Memphians will greatly miss Michael and the generation of his songs will ring out on the air waves of Memphis radios. Even now, his songs are playing.
