The truth about Life #1... Why did this have to happen to me??? Finding your purpose
Why is it that so many of us live in the past? Why is it so hard to let go of pain? Can living in the past affect your future? I've had this conversation with a number of people. The outcome of this conversation always ends up with tempers flared. But the reality of the situation is that a lot of us tend to live in the past too much, because "she" hurt me or "he" made me feel less than a person..Whatever the form of pain you may be experiencing there is always a different way of looking at things. Anything that you've been through no matter what it is holds no precedence over your future. Look at it like this if you take both hands and hold on real tight to your future and focusing on what lies ahead for you in life, then you have no available hand to hold on to crap from the past!!!! What are you holding? There are things that happen to all of us in life that doesn't quite make sense to us on why these things happen. But I need you to trust and believe that there is divine plan for all of this. The things that happen to us are designed to bring us to our true purpose for being here. Instead of holding on to things that people have done to you or the hand life has dealt you in the past!!! Focus on what you were suppose to learn from this and focus on the lesson!!!And then, MAKE YOUR EXISTENCE COUNT!!
Well, I believe that this is one of the reasons why many of us have difficulties progressing and growing. We hold on to small or sometimes large parts of our past, and this can hold us back. Not all of our past can hinder us, as some people and experiences can offer learning opportunities that can help promote our progress; however, much of the past is dead weight and only slows us down. That’s why we need to constantly take time to look inside ourselves – sort of a diagnostic check we do – so we can see what we need to let go of, especially if we are not where we feel we need or want to be with our lives. Of course, self-inquiry is something that most people find it hard to do, which can be another whole blog posting in itself. But if we could learn to take time to look inside ourselves and take whatever lesson there is in a situation and release the rest of the garbage, we could all catapult ourselves to unparalleled greatness. Your message is a wonderful reminder of this.
