ONLY IN AMERICA IV...

Family, as I continue to keep you all updated on the FAUX (aka FOX) news boycott, I thank you Mom for sharing the CNN contact info. I also did a blog way back where I addressed the racism in the Old Navy mannequin commercial. People were saying things such as when you fill out an application for places like Old Navy, on the application it asks if you or any member of your family is receiving/ has received Food Stamps or gorvenment assistance in the past year. HOW CRAZY IS THAT??? I find this to be racist also, because truth is more White people are getting government assistance than Blacks. It is Class discrimination in my opinion. What really disturbs me with these job applications is that is how the Europeans seek to have us deny our history by saying that we are from the "Black racial groups of sub Saharan Africa" BUT "whites" are the original peoples of Europe, Asia, The Middle East, North Africa---Everywhere!!! Which, of course, is a worldwide lie....."Black" Egyptians were wearing silk robes and creating mathematics while Europeans were still living in caves, squashing & eating bugs. Put THAT on the Application, Racists!!!

The idea to make another chapter in my ONLY IN AMERICA series about how 'prejudice' is so eaily enforced and reenforced by our news media simply because of have corner on the market of our public EDUCATION in this country for which they have such power to manipulate said education using the bias of not just the news, but the very voice of the minority communitys- nationally and internationally today as never before.

Watching these hearings of the Judge Sonia Sotomajor in my opinion was a 21st century version of last century's version of Jim Crow openly promoting the needs of Senators Graham and Session to out racist each other as they look froward to the major elections of 2010 and 2012!!!!

Their message was this practice of having to prove just how racist and how prejudice we are in the right-wing of the Republican party and spicifically in the south, is still alive and doing very, very well only if you follow me as your example to see that this remains this way in the next two national elections...

But, what really got to me in these hearings was, because of the manipulation of the news that is important to the citizens of this country. About the shape that this country is really in, in the real world and especially the state that I live in- California...

While watching the two firefighter that have been brought out by the Republicans caused me to realize how as these two firefighters ,Ricci and Vagas were talking about the wrong sthat has been done to the firefighters and all of the residences of California by the leadership of the laws of politics that has put this state which burns each year like a piece of paper set fire becomes a threat to America's national security!!!!!!

These Republicans had the nation and the world hear the story of the damages to these firefighters because they did not get promoted. Yet hundreds and thousands of firefighters have been FIRED by our governor, and yet it is unheard or even looked at as a threat to not just a few fire fighters, but every body in the state of Ca (and maybe other states)are go unknowned because of our FREEDOMS...say like freedom of speech before those very Senators by firemans?????????

Clark, I will go right to the link you have posted, and right after i leave this little tib bit from the right-wing's Token, Michael Steele, because it seem that he is making his rounds before he is "put back" 'into HIS PLACE' by his racist party's handlers...

not long ago Steele wa s on CNN's Sotuation Room,condeming the Obama administration for telling Americans to go out and buy cars and things they can not afford because as he sees it this is what Mr. Obama is doing when he ask the public to support his Medical reform program...

I just had to laugh at this logic , because the Bush administration spicifically asked the public to do just this when he sent out his stimilus package! His people went on a public campaing to let us know to not pay our rents or utility bills, but to go out and by a large tv so that we can boost the economy!!!!!(smile)

Thus making your advice about monoriting what they say at all times. Every thing the Republicans do and say is an advancement in our use of the educational tools of main stream media to help us be able to better fight against media manipulations in this new FCC that will come into position during this administration...(smile)

Mozell, what is "DISHEARTING" is how CNN's showing our president's speech today at the 100th anneversary of the NAACP was followed by Lou Dobbs and S.M. (the female who will be doing the Black In America special) and how they just out and out were allowed to out and out go full speed ahead in demeaning and degrading our president's speech!!!!!!!!!

But, Mozell, what is so hearting are those things said at the end of our president's speech about how W-E never have nor will we ever fail in our goals of full equality and equal justice in America...but this woman saying that Mr. Obama's speech was just like the one delivered by president Bush before the NAACP needs a response of "fire this woman" or go after CNN for not doing so..but this is just my take on this which will never be heard on mainstream media or any one like me until some anchors with my color of skin have been forced by U-S /USA to be on camera on our main stream media...(smile)

Brothers Clark and Mozell, I am asking both of you if I can use your words as the theme for a new blog on this site. I ask because I would like the name this blog, STEALING MOZELL'S JUST THINKING...I would like to point out the reasons why we should not only follow Clark's excellent suggestion to monitor the comments of the news reporter / progam'snews reports, but weshould send emails to those responsiable for allowing these reports. WWW. Newsroom@cnn.com and then follow up with a phone call to 404-827-1700 to complain about the Turner broadcasting networks using a Black man, T.J. Holmes as your Sean Hannity and your Bill OReilly rolled into one!!!!!

They have been for the past two hours,so far, of this 3 hour program using Tl Jl Holmes as news anchor in order to demean our president,a Democrat senator and Mr. Obama's speech before the NAACP...I will farther explain how this is being done and why I believe they have taken this spot away from Don Lemon ... do I have your permission to use your names on my next blog?

I know that I should have asked you by email, but i believe this fits the #1 definition of Prejudice on this post...thank you both ...
