Ten Questions To Ponder Regarding the Gates Case

I wasn't going to write about this because there have been a glut of comments on the arrest of Henry Louis Gates, Jr. by people far more qualified than I--including the president of the United States. But I do have a few questions that I'd like some help answering.

Not knowing all of the facts (and I guess it's possible that Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. was strapped, had knives and actually threatened and perhaps assaulted the police), I just want to know:

1. Do robbers stand there and engage in intellectual discourse with police officers or do they run?

(for more, click here: http://www.karenhuntermedia.com/blog/?view... )

Please pass this link to as many people (especially white people) that you know. I really want some answers. The only way we're going to understand one another is through communicating. Maybe I'm not seeing this clearly. I am open to being educated.

I hear you loud and clear.

Do police get training on how to try to successfully degrade / demean a Black professor who has a genius I.Q and unshakeable pride in who he is, and on top of that is his own house, no, "in his own home"?!?(smile)

Thanks Karen...
