I have a question!

I have a question!

Harry Watley · Saturday, July 25th 2009 at 12:27PM · 2560 views
Now, usually when I ask a question, it is never really answered. Most respond expresses some type of emotional anger towards me. Others say that I worship White people. While others say, I put down Black people. Neither sentiment is the case. However, I am sincerely looking for intelligent answers, because I know within those answers it should turn on a light bulb in the minds of Black Americans, hopefully speaking.

Now here is the question. From a scientific point of view, it would be safe to say that God created dark skinned people before Caucasian people appeared since the genes of dark skinned people are dominant to that of Caucasian people.

This concept would translate into that dark skinned people were in existence hundreds of thousands of years before Caucasian people carve their mark in humanity.

Now, I am going to extract one type of Caucasian people and that is the American White people as an example of what I will say further.

Now, it is obvious to all races of people that the American White people, for the most part, are dealing with and overcoming all the different worlds in God’s universe known at the moment.

For instance, White American people have engineered submarines to explore some of the deepest oceans on this earth while Black Americans leaders and people do not think in these technological terms, why it is that way?

Black Americans complains and whines all the time, and spend their mental energy on righteousness and religion rather than the thinking in terms of becoming a sovereign people to accomplish some of these daring things White Americans are engaged in, why it is that way?

Hence, is it true that White Americans are better thinkers than Black Americans are?

In other words, why it is that Black Americans are so far behind?

What say you?

As you say blacks were here before whites. Now why the whites developed technology first, who knows? But as to the supremacy of technology, first, it's not true it belongs to whites. Second, maybe it's better to have heart, technology is easily abused.

Janice Kelley Saturday, July 25th 2009 at 2:30PM

White Americans don't hold the patten to technology. Yes they have developed many things but they have also taken others ideas and made them their own. There are to many black inventors who have helped developed the technology we have today.

George Milliken Saturday, July 25th 2009 at 3:26PM

By definition, technology is the practical application of knowledge especially in a particular area. I think that the ability to use what you have when you have it is more incredible than pushing a button on a remote. With the proper schooling, anything can be done if the intellectual capacity exists.
What you seem to be missing are the developments of those African cultures using only their minds and manual tools. Did you know that we developed the first numeration system? Or that we were the first to navigate the oceans in ships made of reeds? Not to mention the architecture of empires. And yes, viewing and studying the stars and building flying machines.

There is no one obvious answer to your question(s). That being said, I do think Blacks should challenge themselves and those around them to accomplish things outside of the scriptures. If it is not written in the scriptures, Blacks don't seem interested in pursuit. I wish the scriptures specifically called the believers to intellectual advance -- like Judaism, for example.

But on a different note. Why is it that we still struggle with simple Engrish? And I don't mean jut spelling but simple sentence structure and subject/verb unions? How can we attain to higher accomplishments when we still can't get beyond first grade Engrish???

Hello to All,

Hello Earl,
Of your examples, # 5 requires you to coherently and logically reason, since there is a definite answer and not just a maybe or guess-working. The answer is based on the knowledge of aerodynamics. I agree with you. What say you?

Hello, Mr. Williams,
I disagree with you on a feud thinks. Firstly, I believe that Whites developed technology first because of their tremendous appetite to know about any thing in God’s universe. Furthermore, I never said that technology belongs to Whites.
Secondly, choosing heart over technology will stop the mental growth of man, which is unacceptable to God. Am I right or am I wrong? What say you?

Hello, Janice Kelley,
There is no such thing as any race of people having a pattern on technology. Man’s greatest resource is his brain. Now, if I develop something and you are able to take it from me and catapult yourself in front of me, then you are using your brain better than I have used mines. Am I right or am I wrong? What say you?

Hello George,
I agree with your definition that technology is the practical application of knowledge, and that is as far as go. I believe that what you are doing is comparing how it used to be and you and I know that does not count. What counts is how things are today. Am I right or am I wrong? Therefore, my question is why are Black Americans so far behind? What say you?

Hello, Amos,
Firstly, I apologize for my bad English. I do use my grandma check, and I will try to do better as the time passes.
Secondly, there are two obvious answers to my question. [A] slavery, and [B] pure mental laziness. Dark skinned people were in existence for hundreds of thousands of years and did absolutely nothing to advance the quality of life, which was unacceptable to God, big time. God’s safety net (evolution) kicked in and brought forth the different races, which ended with the Caucasian race to do what we would not do, when we had the opportunity.
We should have been blessed with the crown as good stewards of the earth. However, Caucasian people as that crown today.
The law of nature is that if you do not use it, you will lose it and the Native American Indians have lost this continent to the Caucasian people. Am I right or am I wrong? What say you?

Irma, we were taught about Eli Whitney. I don't understand what you mean about the light bulb though, we were taught it was Thomas Edison. I'll try to be more precise about what I'm saying. I meant that there was something about European development which led to the colonizing of America and future technological development. Once the technology was introduced, all races contributed to its development. But why did the Europeans achieve technological superiority in the first place? Was it something about their nature or their environment? But we know it wasn't because of their intelligence, which is equal among all races.

Harry, hopefully that addresses the first part of your question. As to the other, I've always been interested in technology, believed we'd be on the moon by now, for instance. But the space race was political and thus achieved early success but was not followed through on when the political reason disappeared. Likewise I was a developer behind the internet since 1983, but refer to the census results for 2007: 69% of white households have internet access, only 51% of black households. So technology by itself doesn't bring benefit - how are we going to address this discrepancy?

Hello Ms. Irma,
You are straying too far from the question of my blog. The question has to do with technology and why Black Americans are so far behind White Americans. Now, technology is the discipline dealing with the art or science of applying scientific knowledge to practical problems.
Now, my question was why are White Americans so far in front of Black Americans and other races? I believe the answer is that Caucasian people has an insatiable appetite for knowledge while Black Americans do not. White Americans are scientifically hundreds of years advanced than Black Americans are why it is that way. What say you?

Hello Earl,
I do not know what made you think that I thought the Native American Indians lost this continent to White Americans because of a lack of heart and spirit. The Native American Indians succumbed to White America’s technology; bow and arrow had no advantages over the guns of White America. Therefore, I think that we are saying the same thing. However, the question is why is White America hundreds of years, advanced than Black Americans are in life? What say you?

Hello Steve,
In my way of thinking, technology is not an object hidden under a rock that whatever race finds it first gives that race an advantage over other races. Technology is the scientific knowledge applied to resolve practical and difficult problems. For instance, the crane represents scientific technology to lift objects that other wise man could not move. Having said this you could see that the technology of the crane would have greatly helped the Egyptians when they built the pyramids, if it was possible to merge yesterday with today.
You are closer than anyone is about an answer as to why European people achieve technical advantage over the other races. Inborn in their nature is an unquenchable appetite to know about things, scientifically speaking and to know translates into advancement in life over the other races. What say you?

Hello Irma,

I am not disagreeing with you about the things that Blacks came up with, even though I did not specifically know about burning the cottonseed for light.

However, what I am saying is that since the slaves belonged to White people anything the slaves came up with, belonged to White people. Once you understand this point of mines, you should understand how relevant the concept of sovereignty is for Black Americans, who are descendents of slaves.

What say you?

Harry Watley Sunday, July 26th 2009 at 11:30PM

Hello Ms. Irma,

Irma, why is it that you do not understand anything? I am going to tell you the one more time, and then I am going to leave it alone, because I see you cannot learn.

This is the statement you need to comment on and nothing else.

I said this, “However, what I am saying is that since the slaves belonged to White people anything the slaves came up with, belonged to White people. Once you understand this point of mines, you should understand how relevant the concept of sovereignty is for Black Americans, who are descendents of slaves“.

What do you think about my statement? If it is too difficult for you to answer, then just tell me that you do not know the answer. I will then help you develop the right answer.

What say you?

Steve, would you say that the cotton gin and the light bulb is thec, that actually helped put America in the paths to become a #1 nation...do you have any idea who invented both of them...I will give you a big hit,I bet you did not read any of this in any school that had an African-American history department now did you?!?(smile)

We still believe that slaves could not read or write, correct?

I will give you anothe hint...the south was built on rice not cotton, but it has not been taught in your history books in White history books because to do so would have you not being able to give SLAVES credit for making it possible for the south to exist as #1 in richness in this nation, right?(smile)

ROBINSON IRMA Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM

...the thec used to do all of this deep sea diving, was actually invented by the CHINESE...

ROBINSON IRMA Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM

Brother Harry, if you go to my profile you will see that I am not only Black, but have a college degree in our history that wa taught by our truth not the White man's truths.

Eli Whitney as Thomas Edison learned the what and the how toos just like Ben franklin and took full advantage of this knowing they could get away with it. but, as I said this illusion will only continue as long as WE continue to believe that slaves could not read and write and werelazy and stupid.

Eddison got the idea fro the light bulb as the biggest problem was trying to keep the feliment in the bulb burning. He learned this from Black cotton workers on how they kept lights burning by using cotton seeds(smile)

This is all taught in African-America history taught from the African-Centered view point and not from the European -centet and this is why you will never see this part of BIA on the CNN BIA specials(smile)

Steve, there is always a different side to all tings...night , day...but they all have a part to play...the energy in that atomic bomb that killed so many, can when used another way can make the electric bill in our homes much, much cheaper...

(*the Chinese created this 1000s and 1000s of years ago!!!!!!!!)

ROBINSON IRMA Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM

...so sorry, the Blacks had a special way of burning the cotton seed under a glass jar to get light to shine at night and it lasted a long time...

ROBINSON IRMA Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM

my people, my people, why do we insist on giving the White people credit for having done any thing but:rape, rob, kill and steal every thing they have ever done...why oh, why do we keep doing this to ourselves....I am so glad that some of us have taken the time to learn who and what we are and starting from...Africa had city states and law, long before they took it to europe!!!!!!All it takes is throwing away too things...believing that you will go to hell for using your own unlimited powers and study some truths about mankind. It will take a lot of effort and actually a commitment to throw away this MIND CONTROL that keeps us not doing this....if not us then for our people in the next century. This is the least we can do as even the blacks in slavery left a history of their lives and it sure is not what you have been taught, This I promise you,,,If you are interested go to your nearest College and pick up a book or attend any class in the Black history department any class that you choose......(smile)
