Fear Of A Black President: Conservative Media Trying to Drum Up Racial Fear Again!

After the President graciously diffused the media circle over his good friend Prof. Henry "Skip" Gates brush with the law, some Pro Right-Wing media outlets are still at it. I'm wondering what it will take for Americans to wake up and call some of these guys out for what they truly are... Anti Black fear mongers?! I think these type antics give America a bad reputation globally. I pray that with actions being exercised at the polls that voices like LAMEbaugh, Beck, Hannity, and other like them will drown in silence as the American people rise up and emphatically state, "We're not taking it anymore!'" Hopefully that day will come sooner than later. What do you guys think?

I hear you Sister Irma...Brother Clark I do agree, but I also think we should stand up collectively to challenge some of their non-sense...

"I' believe taking little baby steps like we in the black communitys starting to ask our own selves, "SELF I AM ALLOWING THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA TO DO MY THINKING FOR ME"-"ARE WHITE PEOPLE THE ONLY 'EXPERTS' ON BLACK PEOPLES"???!?and if the answer that we ask ourslves come up as a maybe or even a "no", then we should go on to ask ourselves is this all there is to the said WHOLE story!!!?

I am suggesting that we try this, because each media news network story /issue not only have a different out look on any given story but that it varies from programs to programs with each anchor of said program issues.

but, the most important question that we can ask of us as african-Americans is why do we not see any Black anchors ? And, in some cases not even a token African-American or are we just not able to qualify to give any network national / international reports, even on major, important issues in our Black community?

WAKE UP(smile)
