Sick For Profit

This is what I have been telling folks. They get so caught up in BS and are to lazy to see if the information is true. And its not only the Insurance companies doing this either. The AMA and the Drug companies also have lobbyist out here doing dirty work to stop health care reform.

the one thing that is really getting me
the most about this whole thing, is that we got representatives
going out holding town hall meetings in they haven't even
sit down and read one page of the reform package.

Now get this, a news reporter interviewed this particular
representativ after a town hall meeting she asked him
had he read the bill he told her no.

Now you tell me how can someone hold a town hall meeting
about something they haven't even sit down and took a look at.

That in itself should tell the one's that is out there making all
that unnecessary noise something right there, about those
so call representatives that is out there pulling the fuel on the fire.

Thanks for your comments here guys. That's what sites like this should be about... getting the truth out and sharing information so that we know how to approach our elected officials about what we need and want to better our lives. We should be researching and making sure that facts are straight rather than listening to people who aren't interesting in everyday ordinary people benefitting like the AMA and Drugs companies as was said.

I just can't believe how ignorant some of these people are... "Heil Hitler" ... what kind of nonsense is that?! I posted the link to the other social network group I frequent on Baby Community ... "Mama's for Obama". I'm sure they will be livid about it and use it to go over to the Conservative mom's against Obama to ask them to explain. Guys it's just crazy that these people go to these forums that are suppose to be enlightening people on health care reform... only to attend following the instructions of their leaders like Rush, Hannity, Beck, ect... Ignorance should be a crime for real.

You are so right Sister Mwannesi in that we must not let the President stand alone on Health Care Reform. We have to all let our voices be heard in unison and take our country back from the big wigs who want to continue profit off our backs.

Thank you so much sister Jen for this post.So much CHANGE has come to our Federal government especially in our congress but this is just a start, because far too many remain in political office in D.C. that are just going to continue to ignore any and all things that matter to the public at large in exchange for those big bucks coming from big business' lobby.

It is long past time that we go beyond the lies in those election time sound bites and keep these people in Washington, D.C only if they start working for 'our' interest, the average American citizens...

This is why "I" believe that our president being forced to veto this health care reform bill will give us a better chance to clean house in our Federal government once and for all, come 2010 and 2012.

"We" are the government and we should start acting in our own best interest as way too, too many Republicans and the Democrats sure does not do this!!!!!
