Brown was sentenced in California Tuesday to five years' probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling for the February attack, and he must stay away from his former girlfriend for the next five years. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg is allowing Brown to complete the community labor and counseling in Richmond, near his Montpelier home. ..."I would love to see Chris share what he will learn in the counseling sessions via his web site or via a tv show, so that his young fans--"...

That would really be a great thing if he would or could do a follow up. It is true that he got a better deal for having money to hire good counsel and I wish that all minorities had this advantage.

I know that you guys will get me for this, but I also think Rihanna should have some kind of anger management since she got angry and threw Browns' keys out the window. I don't believe what Brown did do Rihanna was justified, because it is never right for individuals male or female to abuse one another, but I think she needs counseling as well for her anger. If a man is cheating...walk away.

Wow this is some very passionate discussion about Rihanna and Brown, eh...
Well Brother Clark I do see your point, but I tend to disagree a bit on it. Sister Mwannesi thanks for the encouragement on my blogs and I'm glad that you overcame your personal situation being that you are a domestic violence survivor. I also have overcome my own issues with relationships when I was younger. I did get counseling and I was as much to blame for provoking fights as Brother Daniel stated. I took responsibility for my own issues to learn better self esteem and how to manage my passive anger issues that I often took out on my ex boyfriend. We all have to be responsible for the situations we find ourselves in. Domestic violence and violence against women is a real problem all over the world.

I think every situation is different and I don't think anyone should hit another human being either. We all need to be make better decisions about who we decide to share our lives with and if things aren't working out then we need to take responsibility for the mess we find ourselves in. I commend Chris Brown for how he's taken responsibility for his lack of control from the beginning. I wish him much love and success.
