Why do Black Americans resent intelligence in another Black American?

Let me pose this question: Is Mr. Obama a White American or a Black American? Or is he simply an American?

I have to disagree Harry, Mr. Obama is an American. It is this whole race thing that must be made to disappear. For instance my grandchildren have a Salvadoran mother. Do I give any thought at all to what their race is, do you think?

First, let me say this. The sacredness of race has gotten a bad rap because of the terrible things that different races has done to other races based on racial discrimination.

The oldest racial discrimination case that I know of is the biblical story of Moses people racially discriminated against by the Egyptian people. The worst case of racial discrimination that I know of is the racial discrimination of Africans by Whites; Whites still racially discriminate against particularly Black Americans who are descendents of slaves today. The next worst case of racial discrimination in humanity would be the Holocaust.

Consequentially, these horrific inhumane acts have caused you too subconsciously to become blind to behold the sacredness of race or racial diversity. Therefore, you as just as racist on one side of the scale as a KKK racist would be on the opposite side since you do not behold the sacredness of racial diversity.

Now that the world has different races, I am thrilled and anxious to see different races of people. I behold the sacredness of race.

So, yes, Obama is an American. However, he is a Black American.

I see your point, and I actually agree with you on some level. I have thought about my interracial views this way sometimes. In the world of dog lovers there are many different breeds, and each has it's own special characteristics and beauty. These differences have actually been selected for by humans. If we allowed all dogs to interbreed, they would revert to the common ancestor right? So if we had a state where all the different races of the world interbred, would the entire planet become in effect a race of mutts?

No Steve, I do not think that the scenario you presented would have a chance of ever happen.

I believe that most people naturally love their own race and would want to preserve it. Interracial relationships are the exception. The general rule is as I said to preserve your own race and the civility of humanity is love and tolerated racial diversity.

My wanting sovereignty for Black Americans is an expression to preserving my race. Black Americans are a mutt race and really, we are still evolving into becoming a pedigree race. How we will look a thousand years from now if we breed with each other, perhaps evolution may produce the most beautiful people the world have ever seen by a vote of all people.

I would like to switch gears; do you think that Black Americans do not appreciate the gift of intelligence in other Black Americans? I laid out my premise and concluded that Black Americans do not appreciate intelligence in their own ranks at this time as a people. Do you agree or disagree with me? Please support your position either which position you choose to take.

Well just to keep it simple, let's take two Black individuals who are equally intelligent (however THAT would be determined), intelligent, Black individual A and intelligent Black individual B. That would give us 4 possibilities: 1. Neither A nor B appreciate the intelligence of each other. 2. A appreciates B, but B does not appreciate A. 3. B appreciates A but A does not appreciate B. 4. Both A and B appreciate the intelligence of each other.

Now as I understand it, there are more than 40 million Black individuals (however you define BLACK) in this country, of varying degrees of intelligence.

So I will leave that calculation as an exercise for the student.

It seems to me that you are no better than my people are, intelligently speaking, that is.

It baffles me that I have a 68 IQ, just barely passed the threshold of retardation and I could easily answer my own question I put to the members of BIA.

My question could be looked at as the crabs in the barrel syndrome. In other words, if Black Americans could appreciate the intelligence in another Black Americans we would not be on the bottom of society. Does that make any sense to you? The next answer that is worse than the crab in the barrel syndrome is that no Black American is intelligent. Therefore, there is nothing to appreciate and that is why we behave as we do. At this point, it is no doubt that we need a prophet.

Therefore, what is the solution for Black Americans rising from the bottom? Black Americans needs the help of God and the first help from God is to have a prophet that will lead them from the bottom. Does that sound sensible to you?

In other words, was not the first help that God gave to the Hebrew people was Prophet Moses who led the Hebrew people from the bottom of the Egyptian society to sovereignty? Now I can see and understand all of these things having an IQ of 68 and you all who are above average intelligence cannot see what I see, how is that?
