On September 25, 1965, Black Baseball Legend, Leroy Robert "Satchel" Paige Pitched Three Innings With The Kansas City A's.

This Particular Game Was Extraordinary Because Paige Was In A Rocking Chair And Had A Nurse In The Bullpen Waiting To Massage His Pitching Arm. And At The Time, He Was The Oldest Player In Major League History.

Paige Was Born July 7, 1906. He Died Of A Heart Attack, In Kansas City, On June 8, 1982. He WasThe First Negro League Player Inducted Into The Baseball Hall Of Fame, In August, 1971.

His Rules For Living A Good Life Include:

2. "If Your Stomach Disputes You, Lie Down And Pacify It With Cool Thoughts."

3. "Keep The Juices Flowing By Jangling Around Gently As You Move."

4. "Go Very Light On The Vices, Such As Carrying On In Society. The Social Rumble Ain't Restful."
