ancestry Irma did not begin with slavery in America, some people want to know what tribe/clan/nation-In Africa-In Asia-they really are and not what master say they have become.

I'm not interested in DNA ancestry, but there was a lady on here who did do it. The results seemed about probability. I know that I came from somewhere West Africa probably Benin, Gambia, Sierre Leon, or Ghana. Call it intuition or a inner knowing...so I don't need to waste money for those probabilities.

...I mean my ancestors came from those places...

family reunions are amazing for ancestry identification. I was talking with one of my wive's aunts from east africa and we were at a gathering at an ethnically east african mall, I would point to someone, we stopped the person and asked their name and she-who cannot read of write her own language-would tell us who this persons mother or father was, who and when they married and how many children they had going back 5-6 generations. She was really a computer of geneolgy---she even could give me a faint 'line' on the tribe/clan of Our Leader President Baraka Hussein Obama, who actually was a distant cousin of my wifes family.

Actually I perfer the way my family does this tracing.Each family reunion some of the young are given the assignment to have the next report of the tracing of our family tree. It is fun and gives us all a chance to learn together and to share in and pass on by word of mouth as well as offical documations.

robert now my problem!!!!!!!(smile)You go help them have a better life if you are worried about them being uninterested, too lazy or what ever...this is a country for all kinds of freedoms to do what makes that INDIVIDUAL not me responsible for ther actions on not actions.(smile)

"ME" "I" don't even recognize the word, tribe but you have the right to do so...you also have the right to follow me all over this site...this too is on you if you continue to allow me this much control over you life...again not my problem. You see I allow the topic to guide me on where I choose to go ont this site.LOL

And, our family reunion is a family effort not one by a dictator telling us how we want to conduct OUR seeking OUR family history...

if we did not come from Africa or if we did, we will still look to Africa as our Mother land until science tells(prove to) us the man knid as we know it did not start in Africa....(smile)

Also please pay colse attention how I call you my brother? I call Steve my brother...I tend to call all my sisters and brothers this until they prove they are not worthy of this respect.(smile) but, this is up to them, not me...I depend on logic not emotional out bursts as they cahnge as an issue changes...
