Why hasn't Pres Obama made a statement on the death of Derrion Albert? Why hasn't Pres Obama made a statement on the death of Derrion Albert? Derrion Albert was an example of a kid that did things the right way. He was an honors student and refused to join a gang. You would think that the President would have made a statement by now. I second that motion Sister Dorothy...it goes back to parents training their children.
It's the parent(s)' responsibilty to teach their kids how to behave.

Doesn't our president have enough on his plate from the right-wingers until he does not need to give them even more to blame him for. Either now or in the next 7 years how many non Blacks in high school will do something illegal? If he can not go one on one with all then why only his own race and in his own town?!?

Let's look at the big picture on this as it is an on going thing in this country!!!It should be automatic that he has some direct thing to do with sending such powered peoples from Washington to Chicago.(smile)
