More on the Ron Clark Academy on CNN Newsroom

I saw this over the weekend on CNN and decided to do my own research. I found out this guy made the Disney Teacher of the year a while back. Clark is so right that it's about the teacher's ability and creativity to inspire their kids. The kids at the Academy are so well spoken and have such an excitement on their faces. www.ronclarkacademy.com

These are children who are not told that they are negative or defecient so what should we expect?(smile)

I have so many things that could have gone wrong for me if I was taught that I was a negative, especially as I have a learning disability. My mother had me so interested in reading every thing I could get my hands until it never occured to me that i had a reading problem.(smile)

My oldest grand daughter went to a private grade school and had no idea the she was not Miss IT because she went to a private school and this is because she had no idea the she had a learning problem thus the private grade school...(smile)

I am proud to say that if she keeps getting all A in this her first year in college she is going to have me broke by the time she finishes...It is worth is but her sister will be college bound in another year.(smile) A trick I have put my ownself in by making those promises about grades as the proud grandmom with a grandchild on her way to college.LOL

..so sorry for not saying how she is going to get me broke...I told her that for each time being on the Dean's list at the end of the semesters, she could name the gift she wanted for being on it...so far she has been very kind to me and is not going to go too over board....(Ihope)
