SUPPORT THE NATIONAL BLACK EMPOWERMENT TEEN EXPO ~ NEW YORK EVENT
On Sunday, October 18, 2009, the NBTEE, in association with R.E.A.C.H. Communications, is hosting a benefit concert at The Triad Theater in New York City. This event will combine a variety of fine performances with a powerful purpose of sharing information and creating greater awareness about The 1st National Black TEEN Empowerment Expo and its associated initiatives. This is the perfecttimetoget on board to save our youth and yours!
This effort will help raise funds to support as many as 10 other local (NYC) NBTEE events between now and June, 2010, that are vital to connecting with our community stakeholders and engaging our communities of youth.
Please share this special evening with us, and forward the attached flyer to your circles of influence in New York City.
Starting this Thursday night at 7:PM, I’ll be co-hosting a new radio show, "Our Community, Our Children", to air on several local (NYC) stations, in several Caribbean markets and on www.allblackradio.com. We’re hoping this show becomes a meaningful form of outreach for us to discuss ways we can all be involved in creating more positive outcomes for our children. Each week, we’ll feature people and groups who work with our youth, positive entertainers, and important dialogue with TEENS. If you'd like to be a part of the show, let me know.
Thanks to each of you for being a part of the progress. Together, we will build better communities and brighter futures for our youth.
