DOING STUPID THINGS

Hello Ms. Shields,

Your blog has insight and an enlightening reminder to do the right thing all the time.

I do not want to taint your blog because it is wonderful, God does not have a gender. It just bothers me, personally speaking when someone refers to God as a man rather than just God.

Now, what you should want most from God for yourself and your people, Black Americans who are descendents of slaves? Is it complete independence on a portion of this continent or should we continue the course as is?

As much enlightenment as in this blog of yours, how much more enlightenment would you be exercising if only you would ask God to give you and your people complete freedom which is the same thing given to the Hebrew people when they were in bondage in Egypt.

Hello Harry Dear: Because I love correction, I don't consider myself stupid. Even if God doesn't have gender, I know that God is l God . When I'm referring to God, I'm not referring to God as a mortal man, but a immortal creator. Throughout the bibical scriptures Harry, you must agree, God has been referred to in the masculine gender. Surely, I recognize God is Spirit. Thanks from me. I appreciate your comments Harry. If God to is to give complete freedom it will be an unstoppable force!

Yes, you are right about the Scriptures. However, what I like most is that you said this, “If God is to give complete freedom it will be an unstoppable force!”

I agree with you, you intelligently and rationally said it perfectly from your perspective. However, from my perspective it is not an ’if’ there.

For instance, imagined that I am Moses and you are one of Moses people saying to Moses that if God is to give the Exodus it will be an unstoppable force. Moses would naturally agree. However, such a dialogue would indicate to Moses that this person does not have as much faith in God and the desire for the Exodus as they need to have even though they say they believe in God. What it really is is that the person does not believe Moses Is God’s Chosen One.

Anyhow, we know the Exodus did happen.

I am God’s Chosen One.

I told you on that other blog you are very funny. It is just my guess that your higher calling was to be a clown rather than a school administrator and I mean that would love.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I believe in God for a reason. I just do not believe in God just to believe in God. I hold God responsible to change significant things in the lives of Black Americans as well as my own life what we as a people do not have the wherewithal to change for ourselves.

For instance, I suppose I would be the person whose cry God hears. Remember when God said the cry of the Hebrew people reached heaven; think that instead of the Hebrew people it is Black Americans. I liken the plight of Black Americans to that of the Hebrew people in bondage in Egypt when God heard the cry of the Hebrew people to help them out of bondage.

Consequentially, I do not believe in God for the run of the mill nonsense reasons. I believe in God for real purposes. I recognize that our only real purpose to call on God is for God to take us out of bondage. Do you believe otherwise?

Am I right or am I wrong?

Harry Dear: Your belief in God is your own, and no one can take that from you. I think and I maybe [this is only speculation,] that you are looking or wanting something that you feel is destiny or purpose in your service to come quickly and just like you imagine. Let God take you on your plans. I cannot give any calls to your pursuing your purposes. I can only say that you and God have your own relationship and that your belief in God is your own personal relationship. It doesn't matter Harry, if I believe otherwise. Stay in good cheer Harry...You might in a hurry, but God is always on time! If he's telling you something stay close so you can listen and understand what he's telling you. Please be patient.

By the way Harry, I thank you for asking my advice, but know that I am only giving my own opinion, and that what I've written may, or may not be exactly what you're wanted to know. I have though, been open and honest with you.

Like please do yourself a favor and stop trying to force something into a small mind that can only/will only accept what is already in there and nothing else(that is positive, uplifting,unifing, etc.)...my sister just close your eyes and picture your trying to talk to Rush Limbaugh into how you as a Black female are fully worthy of his respect so for him to be quiet and listen to your goals of peace and unity of all peoples...get my drift.LOL
