ARE BLACK MUSLIMS A VIOLENT AND RACIST PEOPLE?
Whenever something as violent and tragic as the recent murders at Fort Hood happens, the Stupidity Index seems to go off the charts. People are looking for quick, simplistic explanations and solutions to matters that are complex and old.
I'm not surprised by much of what white people do or say but I keep hearing Black people express fear of Muslims and Islam. In a recent conversation one person told another "Their god tells them to kill people." The propaganda has no bounds.
I had to get defensive a couple of years ago when one of my college professors in New Orleans (she was Hispanic by the way) kept telling the students, which included my brother, that Muslims kill people who don't accept their religion and that Christians don't. If my brother had any doubts about what she said, he kept it to himself. But I had to remind them that not only have white Christians killed more people in more places than any religion on the planet since the fourth century but that right now you have Protestant and Catholic Christians in Ireland blowing each other off the face of the earth.
And just like I expected, my comments went through one ear and out the other.
Most Black people seem to forget or are totally ignorant of the bloody history of Christianity and Judaism.
Starting in Genesis God is seen ordering his people to carry out genocide against the Amalekites and the Midianites. They are ordered to kill men, women, children and even livestock and chastised for letting animals live.
Constantine, hero of the Catholic faith, said that God told him to go and conquer (kill, rape, enslave and steal from) other nations, which, of course, he went on to do with great zeal. Then you have the Crusades followed by the extremely bloody conquest of both the eastern and western hemispheres.
Slavery and exploitation of the natives by white Christians on this land mass began before the U.S. became the U.S. In fact next week most people in this country will participate in the celebration called Thanksgiving. Most teachers still lie to their students about what really happened, so even Black children believe that things were going okay until the evil "Indians" turned on the pilgrims that just came to visit.
The Southern Baptist Convention was formed when the American Baptist Convention declared slavery wrong. Yes, these good Christians were so committed to promoting human bondage and misery that they formed their own organization, in the name of Jesus, to promote and justify it. SBC is still a powerful conservative force today.
White Christians in the South felt and still feel that the "blessings of African slavery" as the Confederates called it, should be enjoyed by all of their future generations. The notion the confederacy being against slavery is just another white lie. Just read their documents. They called themselves the "slave-holding states" both before and after the term Confederacy came into use.
After slavery White Christians formed the Ku Klux Klan to terrorize, murder and oppress Black people. They also instituted Jim Crow laws to make sure we could not turn our asses up to them without a consequence.
During the Civil Rights Movement White Christians resurrected the rebel flag to symbolize their hatred of Blacks and their opposition to equal rights. They went so far as to burn and bomb our churches and to murder Blacks and anyone who supported us in front of our homes or on dark country roads. Many who did not participate helped with their silent endorsement of these actions.
Today White Christians have no problem watching police murder innocent Blacks for no reason. You won't find any conservative outrage directed toward the police murders of Sean Bell or Oscar Grant. This passive approval is what sets us up to see more of our men, women and children killed unless we do something to stop it.
Many White Christians support the wars and other activities of this government that have resulted in the deaths of millions and that have helped cause the problems between the Sunni and Shiite Muslims in the Middle East. The war between the Sunni and Shiites is no different from the war between the L.A. Bloods and Crips gangs fighting for no other reason than for whose supremacy will prevail.
To top it all off, most fundamentalist white Christians believe in a God that will send you to burn in agony forever for the crime of not believing in Jesus...even if you never heard of him. This would include most people who were born on earth since the time of Christ. Which means these people serve a God that they believe set things up so that most people on earth were "born to burn."

I dont' think they are any different from most religious nuts whom want nothing more than to take over other people's land and run them out in the name of their God.
People whom pertain to peculiar beliefs that state God talks directly to them and only to them are criminally insane and are capable of all the same things that their fellow other rivals have down thought history. Which is pillage, burn, mass murder, torture, rape and do it all with a clean conscious in the name of their God.
