Hendrix Was A Talented Guitarist And Vocalist, Known For His Stage Shows During Which He Smashed Guitars, Used Raw Language And Made s*xual Gestures.

He Headed A Band Called The Experience, Which Also Featured Mitch Mitchell And Noel Redding. The Group Performed Together From 1966 To 1969.

In September, 1970, Hendrix Died Of A Drug Overdose In London, England -- A Year After Being Named "Playboy" Magazine Artist Of The Year.
