Hermits Still Exist!

Hermits Still Exist!

When I was bit younger, I used to think of hermits as a character of fairy tales. The only time I really heard of a hermit or even knew one, was when I read them in library books and stories.

Now, just as early as today I saw a new's story mentioning hermits. People who live a very consealed and seclued lifestyle. I even feel at times I'm sort of a hermit. When my best place to be is where a lot of people are not. I yearn for the alone time quite often. The hermits I saw in the news were living off far in woods and mountains and they had no televisons or the hustle and bustle of big cities everyday business. Even those who lived in large towns were tucked away in their houses and apartments with closed doors and very simple living.

I think there is a long history of hermits someplace. They've been around a long time. They are usually quiet, and share very few friends. Some hermits do not associate with modern commuincations at all. I can see why the quietness calls them. They love the nature and simpler things. Hermits are very silent, some have very special talents, they are romantics and considered as eccentric personalities in some views of others.

This topic of hermits was interesting to me. Have you seen any hermits lately? I think if I did, I would relate to a simple life of seclusion. It's probably pretty peaceful.
