Maybe the answer is just to double the prison population and build as many prisons as it takes.

People shouldn't discriminate against other people on the basis of their skin color. It's wrong and makes no sense what so ever no matter whom the perpetrators are. The idiots who committed these crimes apparently don't know and care anything about the Late Martin L. King and his speech. It's such a shame---- Thugs come in all colors.

Sorry for typo but this is just plain wrong. But you know some of our youth have bought into the idea that they have nothing of significance to offer. They have bought into the idea that they have no chance of ever raising about the chaos, a lack of understanding how the enemy views them. They refuse to educate themselves to the point where they can raise ourselves to where we MUST be respected. So far some of us have not progressed beyond users, pimps, dealers, thieves, prostitutes and a lack of respect for ourselves and others like us.

Some of us are just comfortable with being S-T-U-P-I-D and being called N-I-G-G-A-S!!!

Or, here is an idea that we are trying to get someone to listen to in Ca...PLEASE!!!!!! STOP JUST CLASSIFING THESE CRIMES INDER THE TITLES WHERE THE ONLY RESULT IS THE MAIN PART OF THE PUBIC RAISES HELL AND DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT in he long run!!!???!

These are serious and deadly crimes, period , and they have no spicific :race, religion ,social levels or gender victims as a goal , because it kills and does damages to all from the unborn in the mother's womb to those she has given birth to no matter the: age, color of hair,eyes or skin or place or time of day or night or month of the year....WAKE UP...

i AM THE FIRST ONE TO ADMIT THAT THIS TRIED AND TRUE METHOD WORKS AND IT IS THE CHEAPEST WAY TO NOT BRING INTO PLAY RESORCES THAT ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN personal/group/religion EMOTIONAL OUTBURST by way of lip service AND THEN NOTHING more ABOUT THESE C-R-I-M-E-S UNTIL THE NEXT MAJOR ELECTION CAMPAIGNS, the next deaths in our local communities,ECT!!!!!!

So if you do not follow trough with it get a group together in your cmmunity and call in the press to see your planing something like tis to help bring down the crime in your community!!!!!You will be suprised at this end results. Derek, did you find in any of your research about those white men beating a Black man to a pulp and then killing him by driving back and forth over him wtih their truck until he died being even called thugs or committing a hate crime ? It was called gang related dispite none of them belonged to a gang nor had they ever had been in contact with each other before this?

Why is it that in Philly right now a fight between Blacks and Asians being called a hate crime? In your research what are mass killings of teens in our public schools by White called?

They are not called, hate crimes, gang crimes, White on White crimes and nor are the Whites called "thugs"....
