2 QUESTIONS...When I say that each time 991/2 % of those in our Congress today

Irma, I can only say again that the biggest problem in this country in the political arena is the two party system, and this is perpetuated by the ballot access laws. In an email I got from Senator Arlen Specter the same day you posted this he said about the cloture vote, in part, "It is regrettable that there is such divisive partisanship in the Senate today. When we took the cloture vote, every one of the 60 Democrats said ‘Aye,’ and every one of the 40 Republicans said ‘Nay.’

To my mind, Americans view politics like a football game: which of the two sides are you on? Reform the ballot access laws and maybe these issues will get honest consideration. However, this is a tough nut to crack and requires the public to vote with intelligence and conscience (as you did writing in Ron Paul). The two party system will continually block ballot reform out of self interest rather than the interest of the country that they continually lie is their concern.

This has a lot to do with my having watched members of our Congress, backing adultryand being gay(if you are a Republican)... to promoting the laws of Jim Crow(if you are P-U-R-E Conservative republicans)...to convinceing so many, many, African-Americans that we are too stupid to figure out it is us not our president but it is us(if in the Democrat party)

More later of what I have noticed about all of the partys in their fight to prevent our president keeping his word about vetoing any health care reform bill without a PUBLIC OPTION in it...

Maybe, I will just turn this blog into questions on why don't we start complaining about our Congress devoting so much of their time along with the tax monies we paythem to spent the majority of their time, energy and efforts in DUMBING THE aMERICAN CITIZENS DOWN:

iS IT LEGAL OR CHRISTIAN for Senators like John B. to stand on the floor of Congress and tell blaten lies and demean the legacy of both President John F. Kennedy and his brother Senator Ted Kennedy????

This man has just stood in congress and demanded we do what J.F.K would have doneand would want the American citizens to do, then went on and on of how and why Kennedy would have voted "NO" on health care reform...

President J.F.K just as President B.H.Obama ran for this office on the ticket of health care reform in this country...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calling names and placing blame is something we seem now to settle for...Me. I ask why is this...(I am not smiling nor at this day and age, proud to be an American)

Just, "I" never will blame our president for any of this...(smile)

The senator who moved over to the Republican side...the republicans who ran those down ads against him when he ran for the dems' side have already begun to say that was not as bad as it is going to get now that he is a republican. Tell me why would a Democrat even bother to do any thing but what they did in N.Y. during the last election where the let the republicans tell the public how unready /unqualified each of those republicans running were?LOL This senator is As out and out against the president this man is and he is not P-U-R-E enough (?)so the P-U-R-E supportors of rush's and Palin and Beck are going to go all out against him...then what do they want????!!!!! remember my saying about when ron Paul first started to run for office he (just like now)HAD to be on the republican ticket...the only thing different is now he no longer has to out racist the next racist to get into office!!

It looks like no one is brave enough to stand up against them as we just saw with the Health care reform bill "with a public option in it"!!!!!!!!(I am not smiling)
