ARE YOU A HIPOCRITE OR JUST MORALLY CORRUPT...IS THIS PERSON A HIPOCRATE OR
This blog came to my mind not too long ago when I was watching that rapper doing that alcohol commercial on my TV during the "FAMILY HOUR" part of tonight !!!! What really drew me to this commercial was how I have seen countless of these many times during the family hour as well as those beer and wine commercials...
The field of Drug and Alcohol counseloring has deemed A-LC-O-H-O-L a DRUG...a drug that is addictive and cronic(or deadly) And, while watching this I thought about my talking with a friends of mines once who had told me about how those G-O-O-D and proper parents who believe them to be not good enough to be a guest speaker in their community trying to talk to their children about how don't make the same mistakes as they had at their age!!!!!!!
I started to think like this:
1. How many parents who felt this way are now sitting in their home watching this with their children and it does not faze them at all? ...and maybe having a FEW drinks them selves as they relax and watch TV with their children like good parents do, spending 'quality' time with the family?!!!!??LOL
2. HOw many of these prefect parents ares sitting around drinking and smoling while lecturing their children about the dangers of DRUGS?
3. How many doing this while addictive themselves on LEGAL DRUGS?
4. How many who are at the time talking with their children about the dangers of drugs are themselves high at the time on their own illegal drug OF CHOICE?
And, so on and so... and I am sure that some of you know or maybe thinking as you read this blog of many, many examples of this that I have not mentioned...
No(!!!!!!!!!!), my purpose on this site is not to pass judgment, as "I" am not responsible for anyone behavior but mine....so please let us even not go there...JUST THINKING...thank you all for stopping by.(smile)
There is definitely not only genetic disposition to addictions but also this passing on from one generation to another. Fortunately those of my kids that have smoked have now quit, though I've not yet gotten the fortitude to do so myself.
