UNDERSTANDING BEAUTY: A POEM
UNDERSTANDING BEAUTY
A POEM
Looking at a mirror's reflection of a face
In the eye of the beholder
I find it's touching grace.
In points of view I understand what's
UGLY.
It's not in a face at all...
It's an action, a response, a remark and the look of gruesome.
It's a cold heart, soul, and a envious spirit.
It's a thought that is unclean.
That's understanding beauty.
When you observe the ugly and change your inner being..
The way you see beauty is to understand what's really ugly.
Refrain from it...to understanding.
Understanding beauty.
Can be a poem.

Dear MIISRAEL:
This is so deep. It means exactly the opposite of what the world believes abouit beauty. Many may see a beatiful face, male or female, and recognize beauty in it. But, you ask us to look deeper, beyond the surface, to the heart. And if what the heart holds is ugly, how can we call those pleasing features a think of beauty?
That is exactly what poets do--they remind us to look deeper into things. You did it brilliantly!
