Percy Sutton a son of a former slave who at times in his life was an activist, Tuskeegee Airman, lawyer, politician and media mogul. As a media mogul he saved the Apollo Theater in Harlem and owned several black radio station throughtout the US. As a lawyer he defended Malcom X. As a politician he served in the NY State Assembly and as Manhattean Bourough President. This great man has passed away at 89. Read more about his life by using the link below:
