After years of speculation and rare case reports, a recent FDA-funded study by The National Institute of Mental Health claims that drugs such as Ritalin – widely used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder in children – increase the risk of sudden death by five hundred percent among children and teens.

“Drugs are not the answer,” said Etta Brown, a licensed educational psychologist, veteran social worker and author of Learning Disabilities, Understanding the Problem and Managing the Challenges from Langdon Street Press (www.understandingld.com). “Doctors and pharmaceutical companies are quick to tell parents there is a pill that will fix their kids, but it’s a false bill of goods. In many cases, these drugs – like Ritalin – will serve only to dull their kids’ senses and create health risks the parents could never have imagined.” Read more...

Hello Steven,

So, because of the abuse of Ritalin use on our children is even more reason why we need to desire to become a sovereign people or have complete independence from White America on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders, am I right.

Mr. Farrakhan neither promotes nor advocates the sovereignty of Black Americans. Mr. Farrakhan is a combination of a Christian and Muslim preacher, preaching nothing but rhetoric.

Eventually, Mr. Farrakhan and all of you are going to come to better understand and follow me. I am Black America’s first genuine prophet to lead us out of subjugation and into sovereignty. Mr. Elijah Muhammad could not what God has anointed me to do. Am I making any sense with you Mr. Steven?

Tell me what you think.

Thanks for this information Brother Muhummad. I have known that Ritalin and other combinations of the drug like Concerta, etc were linked to suicide--- but this is a bombshell!

A few years back, I had to fight with the school system, the doctor, and the nurse administering the medicine Concerta ( a form of Ritalin) to get my sister's eldest son off of it although it was causing extreme adverse side effects. My nephew is doing so much better, but I have to find out how to get him out of the special education branding since he never had ADHD/ADD. He's busy playing sports and doing well, but he can't read at the grade level for his age group yet. I hope this will improve with tutoring sessions. I will advise my sister to have him tested by an outside agency to see if he can get out of those 'slow classess for slow kids'.

Hello Jen,

Do not sweat the small stuff. You spelled the name close enough that we know what you meant.

Okay
