CREDO Action | more than a network. a movement.

Dear
Steve,

Thank
you for taking action to save the Internet. Along with 120,000
other citizens, you submitted public comments to the Federal
Communications Commission's docket before last week's deadline.

What's
really impressive? More than 98,000 of those 120,000 were from
CREDO members like you!

An
unofficial tally in the trade journal
Broadcasting
and Cable

suggests that prior to our submission, there were only 20,000
comments, and they were split evenly pro and con net neutrality.
But your comment — and the comment of 98,000 other CREDO members
— pushed the balance dramatically in favor of strong net
neutrality rules.

This
time, you really made a difference. And the industry is clearly
taking notice.

Together,
our voices are loud — and together, we will continue to fight
for important progressive causes like net neutrality.

Thank
you for being a part of CREDO and for being one of the 98,000
CREDO members who dominated the FCC's comment period for net
neutrality.

Well obviously I have more to learn about posting in HTML. My intent in doing so is to preserve the links. Please bear with me as I figure this out

I've not heard of CREDO before this blog. I am obviously late, but I will read up on this and if I have questions I will be back Brother Steve. I like the internet and I don't want any regulations that would limit my moment.

Sister Jen, one of the organizations that Credo supports is Color of Change. I joined because they had members vote for a variety of organizations they sponsor as to where they should donate their money. Many worthwhile organizations, and they gave each member 100 points to apply towards one or multiple organizations. I put all 100 points toward Color of Change, not because I don't support any of the others, but because Color of Change had sent me the request, as a way to get them funding from Credo. But as a member now of Credo I am getting lots of good information from them on a variety of issues, including this one on Net Neutrality. Basically the Corporations are seeking to get preferential treatment on bandwidth allocation, at the expense of small business and individuals.

Steve, that is how I met Credo...they introduced themselves to me right after I became a member of Color of Change.
