Our president in proposing a wage (government money) 'freeze' is in my book a priceless move...what are we going to get out of this from those we voted into office to work in our interest and not big business over this move by our president...DO WE EXPECT...

That was impressive! The man looked the nation in the and said: "WE DON'T QUIT! I DON'T QUIT!"
He scolded the Republicans: "JUST SAYING NO TO EVERYTHIG MAY BE GOOD SHORT TERM POLITICS BUT IT'S NOT LEADERSHIP."
And in what was, I think, the most amazing sequence, he stared right down at the entire Supreme Court sitting just feet in front of him and said: "Last week the Supreme court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests--including foreign corproations--to spend without limit in our elections."
I thought it was artfully crafted and he got the tone just right. I could not believe how when he announced all sorts of tax relief for the MIDDLE CLASS and incentives for SMALL BUSINESSES, the Republicans sat on their hands ins tony silence!!!
I think people liked it.
