United States Marshalls arrested Richard E. Nelson on Wednesday night after he made alleged bomb threats of the City of Memphis Federal Building. The accused Nelson issued the bomb threat earlier this week. Sources believe that Nelson made threats after his son Johnny Lee Wicks was killed in a shootout after he opened fire at a Las Vagas courthouse. Wicks was an ex-convict. Nelson's warrant for arrest also included his violation of probation relating to another case.

Memphis City Schools students be aware that the crackdown on carrying guns and not books the school will be under close watch. So far the number of guns found in the school systems as almost doubled from 1 year ago. A total of 10 gun weapons has be counted in this present month. The school superintendant, Dr. Kriner Cash will reassure the community that Memphis City Schools will tighten up it's security and that students will be under going more security checks. The Memphis Police Department will also be taking extra measures at many of the schools with higher volumes of gun carriers.

A winter weather storm is predicted to slam on Memphis with a winter splash! Presently, temperatures are in the low 40 degrees, but the cold snap is schedule to come early Friday morning 1.29.2010. Grocery store lines are forming as incliment weather may be approaching.
Don't forget the hot cocoa mix! Mmmm..

I don't know what' worse carrying guns to school or bullies in school. In Canada there's a problem with bullies because of the lack of guns and in the States there is problem with guns in some school but there are no bullying problems like in Canada. Kids commit suicide all the time from being bullied while gangs kill one another with guns and if you're lucky not to be in the way of a stray bullet, you live on for the next day. Geeze!
