It's only fair that the Black man should have a historical psychology to explain the reasons for behaviors that haven't improved. The only problem I have with this film is that it puts the blame on the devil instead of men with evil in their heart. Those who decided that this method always works when people are kept in a state of ignorance. If you take the devil out of the equation you'll get faster results.

I believe that there are conditions that have been going on that originate from past lifestyles. For example when you look into the eyes of the people you meet you either see approval or disapprovel, which sets in motion the way that you decide to treat each other.
My parents divorced when I was young, so I grew up traveling between two different environments. When at my fathers house I went to a shool where the majority was Whites. When staying with my mother I went to an all Black school. What seem strange at the Black school was that most kids wore angry expressions on their faces and wanted to fight each other because someone looked at them. I never had anyone ask me what I was looking at, so I couldn't understand why that same person that said nothing about me looking at them could be so violent about someone else looking at them.

Many times, Helen, when you look into the eyes of people you meet, you PERCEIVE approval or disapproval.

And perception derives from life experiences, your environment, and what you have been fed from those around you as you were molded into whomever you are.

I think that you mis-understood what I was trying to say, What I fail to mention is that I always had a smile for everyone. At the age that I was, I precieved everyone as good, and so that is what I recieved in return. I was the type of person that everyone felt that they could confided in. The older I've gotten the more I find that I couldn't see the truth because I was living in an imagination world, like the song Lou Rawls made years also.

I didn't mean that "you have some big time issues...', Helen.

I was relating to the 'person' in the story which I wrote about in my post. LOL!

One thing about writing online or communicating online without the benefit of watching one another's expressions etc, is that we have to become better communicators.

So I gotta get a tad better at this because the potential for miscommunication is oh so great!
