A married couple in thier early 60s was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant. Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table.

She said, "For being such an examplary married couple and for being loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."

The wife answered, "Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband."

The fairy waved her magic wand and poof! Two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands.

The husband thought for a moment: "Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."

The wife and the fairy were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.

So the fairy waved her magic wand and poof!

The husband became 92 years old.

Hey Siebra:

Whoa....

To quote an indomitable American woman: "DOWN GOES FRAZIER..."

And that's ME on the canvas!!!

In that story it was me and my wife right there with the beautiful fairy. We are both just past 60 and about to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.

Men in their forties in 20 year marriages with women who are over 40 may say, "Yeah..what a great idea! A much younger woman!!!"

But when you get to be my age--I am sorry to say that I probably would not know what to do with a woman that young , active and hungry!!!

Well...I know exactly what I would LIKE TO DO!!!

But, I used to be able to run ten miles before breakfast...in my younger days.

Somebody give me a hand so I can get up off the canvas!!!

It was a very cute joke though--made me smile. And I do appreciate the laugh!!!
