The famous roller coaster of Memphis known as the Zippin Pippin could very well zip its way from South to North. Green Bay Wisconsin's, Mayor has his eyes rolled on buying the famous roller coaster that Elvis Presley was so fun of riding. Green Bay's Mayor Schmitt said that he's planning on purchasing the roller coaster to be used at the Green Bay Amusement Park. The coaster is being disassembled and could be rollin on up north. Bids from Green Bay could find it's Pippin ROLLER COASTING to a new home.
I'm remembering when I first rode the Zippin Pippin!....and well I was never SO happy to FEEL THE EARTH UNDER MY FEET!

Wesley Witherspoon, U of Memphis sophomore has received the honor by the NCCAP as Conference Player of the week for February 1-7th. Witherspoon averaged 27.5 points and shot 69.6 percent from the floor, including 50% from the 3-point line. Witherspoon averaged his career high on last Wednesday when his game points average 29 leading a victory over UAB.
UOM that's another Great award for its basketball team!

That's right... Snowballs... A new blanket of snow graced Memphis Town today. Traffic jams flowed slowing down the early morning compute. Memphis City Schools were closed today and tomorrow. Forecasts calls for more sleet and raining mixed with snow. Temperatures may drop down in the low 20's tonight. A winter storm warning is in effect until 6 p.m. on Monday, February 08, 2010.
