“Great Gathering” Brings Black Churches To SC

Harry Watley · Tuesday, March 2nd 2010 at 11:49PM · 1252 views
How many BIA members knew of this Great Gathering?

Below are the concerns of for the Great Gathering. This, Great Gathering will culminate in a video address by President Obama tomorrow.

Columbia, SC—The nation’s three largest Black Methodist churches have gathered in Columbia for a summit entitled the “Great Gathering.”
It’s the first meeting of the African Methodist Episcopal, African Methodist Episcopal Zion and Christian Methodist Episcopal churches in more that 45 years.
“We couldn’t wait any longer,” said Rev. George McKain, Public Affairs Director for AME Zion Church.
The three churches have a combined membership of more than 5 million people.
The three-day event will include seminars, panel discussions and worship services aimed at addressing the key issues facing African-Americans.
Organizers hope the summit can bring the three churches together to create a united message.
“We will leave here as one body of Methodists determined and committed,” said McKain, “to do greater things and do some new things to stay relevant and to be able to make an impact for the needs of today.”
The summit will also focus on identifying and seeking solutions for the problems facing young African-American males.
“The family, the community, the church, the school, the African American young male has come out as a target in each one of those and several of our presenters (have) studied this and worked on this for years,” said McKain.
“Jawanza Kunjufu, out of Chicago, IL, wrote 30 years ago (about) the conspiracy to destroy black boys and we’re seeing it.”
McKain says the rates for school achievement for young black men are lower and the rates for incarceration are higher than those among other demographic groups.
He says organizers hope the summit can help to present a more positive image African-American youth.
Dr. Kunjufu is scheduled to speak at the summit on Tuesday.
Other presenters include and Children’s Defense Fund founder Marian Wright Edelman and Princeton Professor and author Dr. Cornel West.
McKain says the churches will try to encourage young people to overcome their personal challenges and teach them to prepare for greatness. “It starts with having a dream, it starts with having a vision (and) restoring hope,” he said.
“I don’t care how bad the level or how low the level of despair that someone finds themselves in, be it health, economic (or) whatever. You can overcome and that’s what we teach.”
Organizers expect between 5,000 and 10,000 people, from around the nation and the world, to attend the summit.

Below is my comment to the AME Church.

Hello,

I applaud all who came together in the interest of Black Americans. We are not African-Americans. Again, I applaud all of you seeking to find a permanent solution to save our male children from destruction inherent in this society for them.

Inherent within me is our only divine permanent solution as was inherent within Moses was the Children of Israel only divine permanent solution as well. Since you all are God-fearing people and have knowledge of the Scriptures it should not be difficult to understand me.

Our circumstances are found only in the book of Exodus. Consequentially, God had set precedents in the case of Moses as to how Black America’s circumstances would be dealt with as well, am I right. Now, in comparison and contrast to the book of Exodus our situation mirrors the Children of Israel, am I right. Therefore, Black Americans have precedents set down by God to observe and follow that gives us an insight as to how our situation is going to turn out, am I right.

Now, the first precedent of God was the anointing of a prophet to the Children of Israel. So, do Black Americans have a prophet yet? I know that we do have a prophet. Let us understand that the Children of Israel’s Elders and wise men could not solve their problem of bondage and slavery, am I right. Likewise, no Black Americans whether he is Rev. George McKain, Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu or Professor Dr. Cornel West could permanently resolve our divine problem since they are not anointed of God as Moses was and as I am. Am I making any sense?

So, let me begin first for the purpose of the conference.

The AME church is trying to save the male child of Black Americans from destruction of this society. Inevitably, you are dealing with a sophisticated form of birth control that Pharaoh wanted to institute on the Children of Israel through the midwives, am I right. So, this should tell you that Black Americans are in bondage and slavery in this country as the Children of Israel were in Egypt.

I am Black America’s first genuine prophet. No one except me could solve our problem. Our permanent solution is to desire to become a sovereign people or have complete independence from White America who is our relatives on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way.

All that is required of us is to desire to become a sovereign people and recognize who I am since God hand is only on me. Perhaps, I may sound crazy to you but I am not. I would suppose that Moses had sound crazy to the Children of Israel as well. Likewise, all that was required of the Children of Israel was that they should desire to Exodus Egypt and recognize who Moses was, am I right. It took Moses 20 years before any positive results of cooperation began to surface. When the Children of Israel began to accept Moses was when God kicked in, and I right. The same will happen for us.

When God anointed me God firmly said that Moses was my sign as the staff and his leprosy hand was Moses signs. Am I making any sense with you? God is constantly inspiring me since I was first formally anointed. It is a personal thing as God anointed of Moses was also personal. Moses explained his experience as a burning bush. My experience was different. Everything that I say is going to happen.

White America will be hard pressed, but they will be happy for our sovereignty.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Clark and Mozell,

My message was sent to them by e-mail. Do you find e-mailing to be a problem?

Anyway, what are your opinions about my comment? What do you think about the, “Great Gathering”?

Tell me what you think.

Harry Watley Thursday, March 4th 2010 at 8:05AM

Hello Clark,

You asked this question, “What was the response to your message to them?”

They have not responded yet if they are going to respond. Most people do not respond. For instance, at the beginning when I would give my opinion on articles of Mr. Louis Farrakhan to his Final Call newspaper the Muslims responded about three or four times then they stop.

Clark, you know human nature. Most people do not want to be shown that they are wrong or that there is a better way, am I right.

I have had so much experience with individual personalities and organizational personalities.

However, I asked you and Mr. Mozell in my previous post what you all think about the, Great Gathering and my comment to them. Do you think that they could permanently resolve the destruction of the male child in this society? Or, do you think that it would take a genuine prophet of God permanently to resolve our problems as it was done with the Hebrew people in the days of Moses?

Remember that when I use the story of Moses as a comparison and contrast I am guiding you to see perhaps what you would not see otherwise. You should not interpret my intentions any other way, okay.

In fact, all the great minds of the AME Zion Church conference believe that they are free people except that they have a difficult task of saving our male children. These great minds have not connected the dots yet of how sophisticated the design to destroy our male children is inherent in White America’s society, am I right. They as you do not believe that we are a subjugated people and very helpless unless God helps us as God helped the Children of Israel in the days of Moses from Pharaoh’s systematic design to destroy them, am I right. So, these great minds have not inkling that to be free is to desire to become a sovereign people or have complete independence from White America on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders, which God is now offering to us.

I told all this to you, but rather then you trying to understand me you would rather fight against me. The Children of Israel did the same to Moses, am I right.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Siebra,

You said this, “If you are a real man Harry you need to step off the bull****, seriously!!!”

I do not know what you mean when you say bull****. You need to be more specific. You need to give me examples or something I said that was faulty. Any knucklehead could use the expression bull****, am I right.

So, get serious yourself, add some intelligence with your seriousness, and explain yourself, okay.

What say you?

Harry Watley Friday, March 5th 2010 at 10:38AM

Hello Clark,

You said this, “Harry, just like I thought; and there will be no response because your message is not taken seriously. That's because you offer nothing of substance,”

Showing the AME Zion Church leaders that they could never permanently resolve the problems of Black Americans by drawing a comparison and contrast to Moses and the Children of Israel, Clark you say is without substance! Apparently, you do not really understand the fundamentals of the story of Moses, do you?

Actually, the substance that I am showing the AME Zion Church leaders is to approach Black America’s problem the same way God approached the Hebrew people’s problems in Egypt. I thought that they would easily connect the dots since they are supposed to be wise in the scriptures. However, they too are brainwashed as you are. In other words, the application that would resolve the problems of Black Americans is right in front of them in the book of Exodus, yet they do not see it. They must first begin to look for a prophet as Moses was to do Children of Israel and they should know who the prophet is since I am the one enlightening them, am I right.

Next, you said this, “Your message to blacks is, essentially, don’t try to do anything for yourselves, don’t strive to do or own anything, just drop everything and worship me, “The Prophet,” and I will save you.”

What you said is not true. I am not telling Black Americans not to do anything except worship me. I am telling Black Americans that they must come to desire sovereignty or complete independence on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. I am telling Black Americans that our time has come and God requires that we desire to be a sovereign people. I am telling Black Americans that they must abandon the Christian religion and except their own religion.

Incidentally, when I mentioned to you about a few of us coming together this summer you frowned upon my suggestion, am I right. Consequentially, I have a steep uphill climb as all prophets did dealing with their own people, right.

Tell me what you think.

Siebra Muhammad Friday, March 5th 2010 at 2:29PM

Harry, you are so damn selfish until you are willing to bring your own people to hell with you. If you claim to know all the hell black people have been through and continue to go through, why can't you put aside your differences to guide the people to sovereignity... instead you teach the people to worship you.

Steve Williams Friday, March 5th 2010 at 3:37PM

Brother Harry,

You need to spend more time studying the Scriptures. Learn more about Moses.

Harry Watley Friday, March 5th 2010 at 5:33PM

Hello Clark,

I told you the topic would be about our sovereignty, but more importantly, we would get to know each other on a more personal basis. Besides, those that decide to help me will make eternal history. Their names will go down in our religious book that is forthcoming as Joshua and Aaron names went down in the book of Exodus with Prophet Moses, am I right. Everything I tell you Clark is going to happen. I am Black America’s first genuine prophet. God is significantly in the world today as God was when Moses was alive.

You said this, “Unfortunately like most blacks who have a sense of self, you have embraced it for lack of being able to overcome the deep-seated inferiority complex you have vis a vis white people.”

I do not understand your rationale that I am deeply seated with inferiority yet I promote and advocate for sovereignty or complete independence from White America on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. In other words, how could I have a sense of inferiority yet be promoting and advocating sovereignty or complete independence for Black Americans? You are not making any sense at all, am I right. Please explain your rationale because you do not seem to be mentally steady.

I advocate and promote sovereignty because it is coming and I am the only one that can lead Black Americans into our Promised Land. God hand is only on me for our sovereignty or complete independence as God hand was only on Moses. Am I making any sense with you?

Tell me what you think.

Harry Watley Friday, March 5th 2010 at 5:51PM

Hello Siebra,

Please, do not ever say this about me that I teach the people to worship me. I am nothing, but God is everything. I submit to God. I worship God. God is constantly inspires and guides me. How then I would have Black Americans to worship me. All that I am his Black America’s first genuine prophet that would lead us into sovereignty on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

The beginning process on the journey towards inheriting a portion of this continent as our own country is to desire to be sovereign people. First comes the straightest understanding of God that a human being could have. Next will come your desire to have integrity beyond reproach.

Many of us are not going to make it as many Hebrews did not make it either because they could not abandon the old way.

I am the way, and besides me, there is no other way that Black Americans could ever become a real people in this world among other real people.

In other words, some one to be the prophet for the Children of Israel likewise some one has to be the prophet for Black Americans as well. Elijah Muhammad was not since he was Mr. Fard Muhammad’s Messenger, am I right. Black Americans just as the Hebrew people need a genuine prophet and not a messenger.

Tell me what you think.

Harry Watley Friday, March 5th 2010 at 5:53PM

Hello Steve,

What it is that you think I do not know about Moses?

Tell me what you think.

Steve Williams Friday, March 5th 2010 at 7:53PM

Brother Harry, it is more what you add to the story of Moses. It is almost as if you were there on the scene, and could read peoples minds. You know I believe in extra terrestrials, right? Now I am just playing, so don't get mad, but did they pick you up back then and drop you off here in the present?

Harry Watley Friday, March 5th 2010 at 9:52PM

Hello Steve,

I believe that you are more so complimenting me on how well I understand the story of Moses. I say that because you said this, “but did they pick you up back then and drop you off here in the present? “

Is that what you are doing, complimenting me?

Tell me what you think

Steve Williams Saturday, March 6th 2010 at 10:13AM

Brother Harry,

I set out a while ago to read through the bible again, and am currently in Chronicles 1. So I haven't read Exodus for a while, but I don't remember it quite the way you do. If I had time I'd go back and reread it, but there is so much more to the bible. I am anxious to get to the prophets.

Harry Watley Saturday, March 6th 2010 at 10:33AM

Hello Steve,

I understand your setting. You are reading the Bible as any common person would.

However, my setting is different from yours. For instance, I know that of the 66 books that comprise the Bible only one book is applicable to my anointing and that is the book of Exodus. Therefore, the other books are not so important to me. Likewise, only one prophet, Prophet Moses is applicable of my anointing by God to me.

Moses miracle signs were his staff and leprosy hand that his people would believe him. My sign is Moses that Black Americans would believe me. What I have just said came directly from God to me when I was anointed.

Okay.

Steve Williams Saturday, March 6th 2010 at 10:45AM

Brother Harry, but the story of Moses is not contained entirely in the book of Exodus, is it? I believe Numbers and Deuteronomy also contain important information?

Harry Watley Saturday, March 6th 2010 at 11:53AM

Hello Steve,

Yes, Deuteronomy and Numbers are other books of Moses. However, those books are somewhat different from the book of Exodus. The book of Exodus essentially concerns how God intervened in humanity to help a people who otherwise could not help themselves based solely on racism.

So, the book of Exodus is very, very significant as I said. Black Americans are to understand that our time have come the same as when the specific timing of the Hebrew people had come to be free people.

Am I making any sense with you?

Tell me what you think.

ROBINSON IRMA Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM

Harry, I promise you , you never disappoint me. When I first read what your them was a few hours ago, the first thing that came into my mind is, "I wonder if Harry will be going there in person to lead them in th right direction since he is going to belieVe that there are not non Black Americans there or is he going to take the cowards way and hide our behind a computer.(smile)

Oh, the never fail to disappoint me, is you have no bounds for any person, place, that you can claIm has black skin therefore are less than human..what about white people with a tan, do you include them? What about actors playing the part of a black person but in truth they are not since you qualify by skin color and all humans have skin???

THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD PUT MYSELF THROUGH THIS MUCH STRESS...BUT, IT IS SAID BY THOSE WHO STUDY THE WORKINGS OF tHE HUMAN BRAIN AS RELATED TO BEHAVIOR IS THAT A PERSON COMPLAINING ALL OF THE TIME...THEY ARE NOT UP SET OR SAD OR EVEN HAVING A PROBLEM, BECAUSE WE ALL FIND LIFE'S PLEASURES IN OUR OWN WAY ...BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN LITTLE PRIVATE WORLD, SOME JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO PROPOTION OR JUST HAVE NO WAY TO WANT OR CAN CONTROL THEIR BHEAVIORS...

I GUESS A LITTLE LIKE FREEDOM OF CHOICE..OH, WELL, "i" AM HAPPY LIVING IN MY OWN WORLD BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE NEED OF ANYONE TO TELL ME WHEN OR IF I AM HAPPY LIKE SOME DO. (SMILE)
