EVE FIRST WOMAN KNOWN IN THE BIBLE: WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

Christianity: Eve is believed to be the mother of humankind. She was the first woman and first wife. Some refer to her as "Adam's Rib". Her accomplicments are quite remarkable, but very little is written about her life. Although many feel she was the inhibiter to the fall of man to sin she is most remembered as being completely beguiled by Satan to eat from the tree of the forbidden fruit. She acted impulsively of her authority to know what God knew-- and then confronted her husband to take of the fruit from the tree of knowledge. We learn from life lessons that Eve shares in God's image and is depicted as being part the feminine qualities of God. Her lifetime lessons to all is to always be obedient to God-- keeping no secrets from him out of love. Nothing we do is hidden. Eve, a first woman, first wife, and first mother.

How so truly written. MOTHERS, OUR BLACK WOMEN have so much on their shoulders, raising their beautiful babies/children many times as single parents. What a worth indee. Women once viewed as the weaker s*x has found much strength in carrying on MOTHERS AND FATHERING in their homes. Talk about history! How far women have paved their places in the history of life.
