SARAH PALIN LANDS HER OWN REALITY SHOW...ARE U KIDDING ME?

(CBS) Sarah Palin, politician had morphed into Sarah Palin, celebrity and now, reportedly -- Sarah Palin, reality show star.

Numerous reports say the former Alaska governor and John McCain running mate has agreed to a deal with Discovery Channel for a reality show about life in Alaska. Several of the stories say it will cost Discovery roughly $1 million an episode.

Palin's so popular, CBS News Correspondent Whit Johnson points out, that McCain has called her in for help in his primary fight against his Tea Party-backed challenger, J.D. Hayworth, the conservative radio host and former congressman.

"Can you imagine what this is like for him to have to ask her back to campaign for him? That must be a real personal hit, but he's trying to save himself," observes Shushannah Walshe, author of "Sarah from Alaska."

Palin's star power is also paying off at the bank, Johnson notes. Her best-seller, "Going Rogue," has made an estimated $7 million dollars, and she's inked a multi-million dollar deal with Fox News.

"She is making what she made in a year as the governor of Alaska speaking for an hour, for one night," says Walshe.

All this has many people wondering, Johnson says, whether Palin will take up the call from her supporters to run, Sarah.

It appears she hasn't ruled out the possibility, saying on Fox recently, "I won't close the door that perhaps could be open for me in the future."

But, Johnson adds, a recent CBS News poll had 71 percent of respondents said Palin shouldn’t try for the Oval Office.

Says Politics Daily columnist Walter Shapiro, "The more fun she has -- and that's certainly her right -- the harder it is to run for president."

I say if Palin ever ran for president in 2012 and won everyone reading this post will all be hopping on the next thing smoking out of America (something for some of these prejudiced "republicans" to wish for in 2012 anyway LOL)...

Siebra, my child, I am almost 99 1/2 % sure that on Fox today when they were talking about her speaking for McCain they said "former Fox news analyst". But, and way as discovery is a 'family' channel, I doubt if her being so tied to the TEAParty and that biker jacket on her today represents the MOM'S of today...

Palin is doing too, too much to get the media's attention on her without realizing just how over all conservative this country is when it comes to what they want on the family channels...example...her and McCain using taht "hell no" today is going to come back to haunt them as "hell" is not allowed by parents for their children to say when using the word "NO" in it...(smile)

During a campaign year any and all of the most tiny, tiny innocent move/ word can distroy someone over night!!!!anther example of screw ups is over looking another's culture or their country's fight among them...so Palin using the name of Castro tiday with those Cubians in Fl. doing their own ting against Catro was disrespectful much like Bush when he was in Africa trying to join in on that dance was highly disrespectful...

you know Siebra a lot like saying you don't want to eat in a home in the south when the food is offered to you eventhough you can not eat another bite. YOur major, major bad for turning it down. lol (smile)
