Two female suicide bombers struck in Moscow killing at least over 35 people on Wednesday, March 29, 2010. The women have been linked with be the group calling themselves Black Widows. They are called Black Widows because they have usually lost their husbands, brothers or close relatives in one of two Chechen wars that Russian fought against Islamist rebels since 1994. Grieving for thier loved ones and intent upon revenge. Black widows are usually poorly educated and are considered easier targets for extremist groups. This latest attack struck fear into Muscovites and refocused attention that the female sucide bombers willing to be martyrs in the name Islamist Jihad or holy war. The last record of an Black Widow attack was in 2004. Russia has experienced a bloody year which includes two passenger planes and the Beslan's School Number One. Hundreds of innocent civilvians and children lost lives. Russia's clutch on the Black Widows has a web of violent acts and what's more there may be more to continue.
