Yes

It is a freedom within a cleansing if you will.

When the person is truthful in asking for forgiveness.
5. Should you forgive someone who has not asked for
forgiveness?
No.
6. Are there things that are unforgivable?
Yes.
7. Is it a sin not to forgive?
Since sin is the transgression of God's law, it would be a sin not to forgive if the person is justified and asked in the spirit of truth to be forgiven.
8. If you forgive, why not forget?
To make sure you have learned from the experience.
9. Is repeat forgiveness to the same person a weakness on the forgiving persons part?
Yes, the weakness is a forgiving heart from the forgiver that needs to be developed into operating from justice with the repeat offender.
10. What does it mean to forgive?
Bottom line to have a free spirit; To show mercy when mercy is not necessarily due and to receive mercy when mercy may not be due to you.
