Thanks, MIISreal and Irma. I miss y'all, too! I don't come around as much because it seems that many things have changed for the worse.
And it's too bad, too. This used to be my favorite site! :-(
Ahhh, Yes!!! Can I get some two cents in here?
First... I would like to second the sentiments of MIISRAEL and LADY IRMA when I say that your powerful, reverent, compassionate voice was dearly missed around here.
You are correct in noticing that many things have changed for the worse--and that has made you think twice about whether this community is worth the effort.
This is a great big ol collection of humanity with all the same problems and issues that every other community has to deal with.
There are people, who as our DEAR LEADY IRMA says over and over again, are STUCK ON STUPID. Some people show their egotisitical side. Some feel the need to tear others down.
But...there are folks who regularly tune into this site who genuinely seek to teach, to learn, to enlighten, to share something worthwhile, to inspire us, to life us up.
Sometimes their efforts are drowned out by the folks who want to tear things down.
That is exactly why your voice is so valuable around here--and why your wisdom is sorely missed.
So, here's hoping you stick around...
And thanks for your beautiful words and the example of your faith.
