I Have A Confession to Make

It occurred to me that I have issues! Yes your dear sweet Jen Fad has issues with organized religion. I don't want to go into details, when I was getting married my pastor at that time didn't support me (after all my dedication and service that I had given to the church) with prayers when I was getting married.

I ended up having to get married at my hometown church that I had not attended for over 5 years. Not only did he not show up nor his wife or anyone from the church, I never even received a call or an apology from him,. His wife did call to ask of me and how I was doing. Although this has been over 8 years ago now, I was reminded of the event after seeing a youtube clip of his wife advertising his over 25 yrs in the ministry and inviting the public to attend.

I want to find out what you guys have done when you have been disappointed by organized religion and the people that call themselves pastors?

Jen, you move on and thank your heavenly father that he ENLIGHTENED you. One thing I learned is that so many churches have more HELL in them than the club scene. The pastor is only the messenger... He's stll a man... imperfect

I thank you guys for sharing your thoughts on this topic with me. I called my uncle who is a pastor and shared my story with him. He was able to also encourage me with the word of God and with prayers.

Jeremiah 23:1
Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

Although we are all human, I do believe that God's word states that those in leadership will be held accountable for the deeds that they do especially to the sheep of God. It is my hope that I will be able to finally once and for all put that pastor and that church behind me due to offense.

Matthew 18:7
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Mark 9:42
And whoever causes one of these little ones (these believers) who acknowledge and cleave to Me to stumble and sin, it would be better (more profitable and wholesome) for him if a [huge] millstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

I have forgiven the church and the pastor from my heart, but the memory and sting of what they did still lingers & has changed my mind about organized religion. Although I attend church, I'm not personal nor am I involved like I once was. I attend and go home.

Matthew 18:35
So also My heavenly Father will deal with every one of you if you do not freely forgive your brother from your heart his offenses.

I don't desire to miss out on what the Lord has for me so I do what is required of me. I do pray that I make it to Heaven and not allow offenses to cause me to stumble and fall again.

In closing, I quote Romans chapter 14: beginning with verse 7

7For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

9For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

jenFad, sweet little jenFad

"I do believe that God's word states that those in leadership will be held accountable for the deeds that they do especially to the sheep of God"

this is the key quote;

Adaam- Mankinds Father had The Creator as his Leader
eveHowah had The Creator as her Leader

yet each was required to take Responsibility for their Belief and Devotion.

Nuh, Ibraheem, Musa, IsaIbnMaryam and Mohamed(as) were all required by Their Creator to Believe and be Responsibile.........

If deviation occurs it is Mans detriment, No one speaks, mediates for you before The Creator, except you. No one shares your Reward from Creator but you.

Deviation of Monotheistic thought has its genesis in
paganEuropeanChristianity.

No original Believer of Monotheistic Thought, baniIsrael or the continuers of Monotheistic Thought, The Muslim, or even the Nasreeun(prepaganEuropean followers of IsaIbnMaryam-Copt, Chaldeans.) -- believe paganVersions of Creator.

If one Believes in Monotheistic Thought one NEEDS understanding and submission to Original Thought.

But if One needs a sweet, dear song, that twists our soul for a moment,
Ok---it soothes the flesh of Mankind?

Dear Sweet Jen:

You have confessed. I hope you have also forgiven. You have moved on. Don't look back to dig up something that's been buried. You are spiritually alive. And you are still dear Sweet Jen to me. You are strong with a contrite heart --this is what God observes in every person who confesses.

Love,
MIISRAEL

Jen, my sister, even though I don't have the honor of meeting you in person I feel connected to you. You are a very gifted sister. Like Misreal shared, Don't look back to dig up something that's been buried.

Use your past as an example of what to do, and in some cases, what NOT to do. Or be like Mary J. Blige: No More Drama!!!

Once again for the feedback. I like sharing with you guys because I know that confession is important for the soul. I really felt better after blogging about this because when I feel troubled, I journal about it for therapeutic purposes. I've always done that even as a youngster. I do appreciate the feedback & today I've just been listening to the music I posted allowing the song to penetrate my heart and soul inorder to let go once and for all of the past.

Jen, I do feel for you, but when a person has done their best, just say well done and have full faith that time does heal all wounds. And, may I add when it really gets to you just give you son a big hug and a kiss.(smile)

Jen, please read this and tell me what you think about it. O>K>?religious strife Must Be avoided at all cost; underno circumstance should it be allowed. People may hold different religious beliefs, but the bottom line is that we all are human
beings. We all seek happiness and desire peace. AReligion should bring people together. It should unite the potential for good in people's hearts towardbenefiting society and humanity and creatingg a better future.

and I am so very confused agout did the church and all of the members of the church fall out with you because you were getting married or was it the preson you were marrying and they disagreed with it...Without any more info that is the farst I can go with this one Jen

Maybe invite them over for dinner and all of you talk it out and I am sure all of you ill feel much better, It is never good to hole domething that bothers you so badly and for long to not try and find closure. Go for it so that you can find som lasting peace. There is a lot of hurt an confusion there a delious home meal will cure all of that. Or at least think about it. (smile)
