RUSH LIMBAUGH ATTACKS PRESIDENTS OBAMA AND CLINTON IN TIME MAGAZINE

Rush Limbaugh has written an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal titled "Liberals and the Violence Card."

The crux of the op-ed is that conservative protests like the tea-party are not driven by hate but "by a love of what America stands for." In making his argument, Limbaugh attacks Presidents Obama and Clinton and responds to TIME's Joe Klein, who last week accused him of sedition.

"Like the millions of citizens who've peacefully risen up and attended thousands of rallies in protest, I seek nothing more than the preservation of the social contract that undergirds our society," Limbaugh wrote. "I do not hate the government, as the left does when it is not running it. I love this country. And because I do, I insist that the temporary inhabitants of high political office comply with the Constitution, honor our God-given unalienable rights, and respect our hard-earned private property. For this I am called seditious, among other things, by some of the very people who've condemned this society?"

Limbaugh also responds directly to President Clinton, who in a speech last week tied the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing to anger incited by "talk radio" hosts like Limbaugh.

"McVeigh was not inspired by anything I said or believe and to say otherwise is outright slander," Limbaugh said, adding that he raised millions of dollars for the bombing victims' families.

Limbaugh went on to say that "the Obama/Clinton/media left are comfortable with the unrest in our society today" because "it allows them to blame and demonize their opponents (doctors, insurance companies, Wall Street, talk radio, Fox News) in order to portray their regime as the great healer of all our ills, thus expanding their power and control over our society."

And he ended with another implication that Obama and Clinton do not love their country:

A clear majority of the American people want no part of this. They instinctively know that the Obama way is not how things get done in this country. They are motivated by love. Not hate, not sedition. They love their country and want to save it from those who do not.

How dare Rush Limbaugh fix his mouth to say that Obama and Clinton do not love their country. I bet he wouldn't say the same thing about those two sons-of-a-Bushes not loving their country. Rush needs the crap slapped out of him!!!

Please, would we expect any less than this coming from Limbaugh (he is in compatition with Plain and Beck for mass media attention)...I take what Limbaugh says as hopefully it will lead to maybe they are so ashamed with former president Clinton's coming out and saying that our country was attacked in responce to anger against our government under his watch while those on the right are still in denial that 9-11 happened under president G.W. Bush's watch?!?

At least this is how I look at this issue of coming out at this time against Clinton, a Democrat. and another reasons for them to be proving just how desperate they are on the right- wing lol (smile)
