ABRAHAM is the best name for all African Americans to Unite of all religions.

Anyone can say "black people unite" but that means nothing....we are so very divided....but, if there was something to unite around....Umh..Umh...Thank of it..Abraham is the name of the Father. He is the father of many nations. How can you can go wrong ? Would you want to wear my shoes ? Don't think so..the tribulations and the many challenges. Then to learn that am a descendant of Ishmael, Abrahams oldest son. One million African Americans will depart America to Africa for the establishment of a homeland for our people at last. The black Africans will learn to love us and we will relearn how to love the black Africans, our ancestors.

I am confused. Don't get me wrong Abraham is a good name. I know that Abraham and Muhammad are two prophets that are the most spoken about in the Qu'ran.

However, I would like to offer some food for thought: The name Muhammad means "worthy of all praises". So if we (as Black/African-Americans) are going to unite under all religions, shouldn't all our names be that of Muhammad?

Look, I know I'm not perfect nor am I saying that I am Allah. So please don't take this as an insult brother. I'm just asking this question for understanding purposes...

Muhammad is a wonderful name. The problem is that it is not mentioned in the Bible, so Christians do not honor that name. We would loose all the many African Americans that are Christians. There are black American Christians that strive hard to be righteous. But Abraham is in the Bible, the Quran and the Torah.....It makes all the differance in the world.
